New Chapter Concept: A Quiet Place, The Death Angel
Ok it's a little complicated so just stay with me here. To start, the Death Angel has an increased base movement speed, I was thinking anywhere from 135-150%. But there is alot to counteract this. For one, the Death Angel is blind, and thus can see the terrain just fine (for balancing purposes) but can only see survivors when they make noise. Healthy survivors become visible at the following distances from the killer: Standing still: 5m, crouching still: 3m (because of breathing, walking: 10m, crouch walking: 5m, running: 25m, additionally the moving stats dont change but for injured survivors, the distance they can be detected while standing still is extended by 2m, so 7m standing still and 5 crouching still. Loud noise notifications no longer show up as a single static visual notification but rather as a red circle that pulses over a few seconds. Additionally, while the Death Angel is in play, random traps appear throughout the map at the start of the trial. These traps do no damage but create a loud noise notification, think things like broken glass or hanging tin cans. Survivors can disable these traps, creating a loud noise notification in the process but removing them for the remainder of the match. The Death Angels active ability has them performing a loud screech that deafens nearby survivors making it so all they can hear is a dim ringing noise, and their vision is very slightly obstructed/blurred (less than with old clown). The whole point of this ability is that while the survivors are disoriented they are more likely to hit a trap, and when they do, they don't know they did because they can't hear it. Finally, as an additional way for survivors to fight back, once a generator has reached 10% progress, they can salvage a audio amplifier from it, which is a one time disposable item that can be used to stun the killer for a few seconds, and reduce its ability to hear sounds for 15 seconds, so the distance he can see survivors is reduced, but not completely nullified. Salvaging an audio amplifier can only be done from a gen once everyone and a half minutes and takes 5% of the gen's progress to perform.
In my mind the killer would also see in black and white, because I think it would make the noise notifications stand out more, Aswell as just looking really cool and kind of being on theme, but from a gameplay standpoint it might not be viable. As for how this would work for scratch marks and blood stains, they would also be red, but perhaps a caviar could be added such as they last less long or something to make it more balanced.

That's pretty cool, I do wonder how they would incorporate a Killer like this ~
