Ok lagged out
I lagged out of a match and got put in scoreboard screen. It says I dced and killer dced but my swf group escaped. Yet they have said that they are still in the match and I have dced. First time this has happened. I hope I do t get banned for this. Is this the killers trash WiFi or is it the patch

Connections work both ways. The fact that your SWF group was still in the match kinda proves it was your trash wi-fi.

Yeah but this has never happened ever before this is the first time it's happened the killers ping was red on the lobby

Why'd you even ready up with a killer who had red ping? Your DC is just expected at that point.

My friends are saying that the lag in the game is absolutely horrendous and unbelievable

Well, yeah, that's what high ping means.

Because we didn't fancy waiting forever to get into a match again if I left the lobby

I get that, but you can't blame the killer for not living near you. Personally, I prefer to play a round with low ping even if it means waiting longer, simply because it's more stable and enjoyable.

Red ping means you're either going to d/c, or you'll want to ######### because of the lag. Is this not a generally understood concept?

The leniency on DCs is for this reason. You won't get in trouble for accidentally DCing a few times. Was the room red when you guys joined up? Sometimes it's best to settle for nothing but yellow. I have had matches where the red ping was playable (though very laggy), but in most cases it ends up with someone not connecting or someone DCing in game. There's no shame in asking your friends to leave so that you have better connection.

Not correct at all. It is this last patch. I have fantastic signal and can play any online game with no trouble. I never have a problem in DbD, but last night, I was lagged out several times. Checked my speed, no change. Several friends I know have been having the same problem. The game is dropping faster than rank 20's to a red rank killer.
