If survivors lost a whole hook state after 1st hook
Bet my bottom dollar it would've been fixed by now. There's literally no point playing in playing killer right now as Deadlock doesn't even stop the gen glitch

Probably not.
One of BHVR's things is that they move slowly and break the game with every update.
19 -
No they wouldn't have.
They can't really push many fixes at all until the scheduled slot of 1 week after a patch launches. Certification and all that.
Literal game breaking desync that caused hits through walls and around corners was in the game for 2 weeks alongside the first HUD rework.

Merciless storm was bugged for months and deleting the entire gens worth of progress for hitting the skill check.
Calm down.
They've already announced the fix is coming in the first patch, likely early next week.

I mean, probably not. It takes at least a week to fix this stuff for them regardless, if not more

Just slug

This. We literally had entire gens worth of progress erased and it lasted a couple months.

Yeah I like the song Us vs Them by Suicideboys too

I mean it took close to 7 years before something was done about Dead Hard. And even longer to do anything substantial to Nurse and Blight's hugtech lol. You can just hard-tunnel everyone out or IDK wait. Play RE2R until the hotfix? Eat a pancake?
Love that band, they got the best merch.

Try not to hard tunnel. I haven't seen the glitch once.

The goal for them is to fix it with the next Hotfix. This is the fastest possible.
I dont really understand why there is a need for some stupid Us vs. Them because you think that a Survivor-Glitch would have been fixed outside of their regular Schedule for Bugfixes. Such a stupid take.

There's a lot of things you could criticize BVHR for. The speed of fixing a bug is not one of them because sadly hotfixes also need to go through Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo for approval.
1 -
Indeed, tunneling might not be the best way while this bug is around. Slugging works a treat tho

Not at all, this is just bhvr and their code as always.
This happened with mercyless storm, survivors literally got entire gens done regressed back to 0 and it took a long time to fix.
It is not favoring any side bhvr just takes a lot of time to fix things.

we just went through anniversary 8 where a random survivor could be hook because someone attempted to pallet save. That never got fix the whole event

I think we've had an anniversary where wesker was basically killswitched for entire duration, too
Anniversary event is a little too short I'd say

i just think it silly to even hint that the devs are bias at this point. They usually move at the same speed regardless
1 -
He was disabled for weeks before the anniversary but they reactivated him just before the event.
2 -
We also had a glitch that literally deleted your progress. That thing lasted for WAY longer than it should have and it was absolutely devastating.

Decisive Strike has been bugged every patch??? Two patches ago, you jumped off the shoulder and stayed in wiggle position. The previous patch, it stayed lit timing down, even if it was no longer active. CURRENTLY, it is lit all match and you don’t actually know if/when it’s active.
Can we all get over acting like Behavior still favors survivors? That died long ago and both sides are equally hit these days. We need to start getting over ourselves. We all suffer these days.

(*゚∀゚)σ to be fair, in soloQ I lose all health states with one hook very often lol
Anyway on a serious note, I think a couple of mods have mentioned elsewhere in the forums that they are working on a fix asap already so hopefully it should be sorted soon :)

lol, no.
Wesker was killswitched before the event, they even postponed it for a day so that he is playable at the start of the event.

Seems to be trending again... Sigh...

The certification process is almost entirely determined by the console company, so Microsoft, Sony, etc. They use it to make sure that the builds they receive are stable and with cause severe client side issues.
It doesn't prevent server related issues, unfortunately, and bugs are bound to get through, but their main concern is that the game is not going to crash consoles. So for a live game, each build, including hot fix patches, goes through a vetting process to make sure it isn't going to create some kind of client side crash.
I'm not entirely sure how long the cert process is, and it likely varies, but it'll take at least a few days for BHVR to identify and correct bugs, then a few more days for the console company to certify the hotfix patch. Then maybe a couple days to make sure all of the patches can go live at the same time across every platform, so there aren't major version issues everywhere.
(Not a dev, just vaguely familiar with the process)

This is about right, and most of the time it takes 3-5 days for certification from them all.
