I dont want to sound rude and frankly I dont even have this platform so you could say I dont have to care but...

Damn 4500 shards for owning all DLCs or many DLCs and to have to rebuy them again if you want crossprogression? Thats it?! So if someone spend like 100$ on dlcs And now has to buy it all over again..the compensation is just single 4500 shards? This is rock bottom of Marine Trench guys, seriously. Big bruh moment and I am disapointed.

I feel bad for Nintento switch players atm. Not cool. It should be at least 4500/per DLC you own.

Yeah it's disappointing. I'm also disappointed that prestige and items won't stack. Been waiting years for cross progression and it's sadly not as exciting as I anticipated lol

I skimmed over the news update and thought they said 4500 Auric Cells, that sounded reasonable to me, I've bought more than 3 times that many ACs worth across Xbox/PS4/PC.

When I reread it and saw they meant shafds that felt a bit like a slap in the face not gonna lie.

I play on PC but I feel so sorry for the Switch players who want crossprogression and switch to a better platform (Nintendo Switch is a great console but playing DBD on it is a torture and it always felt like Switch players are the forgotten children). I can understand when Nintendo is not interested in their users switch the platform or it's difficult to make good cross progression between Switch and PC/other Consoles. But I cannot understand why the developers threat their players so badly. This is just injustice and rip off. These players deserve it better.

I agree, at least give them 4500 Shards for each DLC they own so at least they don't have to pay twice (or grind five years) for an original DLC/character they already have. I

Wait… What? This is horrible. How dare you even call that "cross progression"?! We are talking about people that bought the game, unlocked the dlcs via purchase / grind and then bought the game again. Cross progression means, that a player can have their entire save file as it is on one platform on another. But on that first one they would already have all this content, so the save files are different from each other, which means this is no cross progression.

    Possible legal issue?

After all, if you legally don't have an agreement from Nintendo to allow people to transfer their in game content over from Nintendo to other platforms, I don't think you can legally go "Oh well, we'll give all those players in game currencies for free to replace all their DLCs then".

I might well be wrong… but sounds pretty shaky/risky from a legal point of view, as it basically achieves the same thing… 4500 shards as a one off good will token you can probably slip by… but 30'000 shards to rebuy all the DLC you own is probably gonna get some issue somewhere.

So if someone spend like 100$ on dlcs And now has to buy it all over again..

You have to make the duplicate purchases before syncing up, too. If you sync up and then do the purchasing you don't get the 4500 iri shards.

Edit: The source for that is:

Edit 2: Oh, cool. Now it's per DLC and the instructions when syncing say it includes purchases made after syncing.

Hopefully that means I'll get compensated with shards if/when I purchase DLC I already purchased in the Nintendo Switch eShop… ?
