Keyboard and mouse on console

Just did my cross progression link today so I can switch from Playing on my old laptop to my PS5, will there be any possibility in the future that keyboard and mouse support gets added to the console versions of dead by daylight the way that Minecraft bedrock and Fortnite do as well?

    The devs have stated more than once that they have no intention to do that. No clue as to why, id be happy with that too. Killer on controller feels like an unnecessary handicap.
