Complains about killers teaming up in 2v8
To all those people that complain about it, thanks for admitting SWF is unbalanced.

I don't under stand the hate I mean I gotten out in this mode more the the normal mode and I'm playing solo.
13 -
Me neither, its so mutch easyer to escape in 2v8.
4 -
I was in a match all 8 escape some killers don't work well with each other.
6 -
I think its more the missing slowdown on gens that breaks killers in this mode. Like ive played 2 games so far as killer, 1 was a 8k swipe where we got pretty equally "hooks" spread between the two of us and the other was a like 3 or 2k or something
3 -
ok 👍
11 -
thing is with survivors they don't have the tools to genrush or bully the killers in this mode.
but they could make 8 men swf group.
1 -
Forums try not to complain about SWF for 3 seconds challenge (literally impossible)
30 -
seen very few complaining on the forum about killers tteaming but i see u in muplite threads trying desperately to stir the pot.
13 -
Are people really complaining, or are they just pointing out how strong it is?
10 -
as strong as swf you think?
2 -
This isn't the epic mic drop you think it is lol
14 -
Im not thinking anything, its just strange to me to see double standards once again. Suddendly it becomes an issiue when killers team up.
2 -
It's almost as if there's multiple layers of nuance you're ignoring equating killer swfs and survivor swfs.
13 -
True, on survivor its 4 people so even stronger than killer kwf.
3 -
Im not complaining about swf, im pointing at the double standard going on.
1 -
that's how survivors are,I been playing survivor on there and I got out easily.
I mean yea there time where I get sacrifice maybe the whole team gets sacrifice but I seen 8 man out too it just as random as the normal mode just more fun.
3 -
Yeah you have no idea what you're talking about lol
14 -
?
2 -
Yes
1 -
in what way is complaining about 2 killers working together correlate to SWF being unbalanced, cause you can just work with the other killer without comms with the almighty power of aura reading, if anything it shows how strong aura reading can be
3 -
double standards are strooong in you. holy….
2 -
200% gen regression is pretty huge slow down.
6 -
How is this double standards in the slightest
4 -
You don't even need to be on comms to work with other killer. They get built in aura reading when they initiate chase, their skills and are able to see each other.
2 -
appearantly not with how fast gens fly
0 -
Me when my side [good :))))))] but also the other side [bad :((((((((]
The one complaint I've seen about 2 killers is that even without coordination they can just eliminate the "chase" part of the game. Comparison to SWF is entirely inaccurate.
4 -
Was there ever any real argument that SWF isn't unbalanced?

You must not have been on the forums or Reddit much at all the past few days. Literally tons of posts and comments complaining about it. I mean honestly you must not looking at posts right on the first page.

My experience has been mostly good in 2vs8 on survivor but I play with some friends. There is not really tunneling or camping which are regular in normal mode. I have been escaping more than in normal too.
But today I tried some soloQ and had rough games. I was unluckily tunneled and camped by 2 killers in first and in second game killers destroyed the team and I played for hatch but they slugged for 8K to drag the game. I went to back on killer after having bad time.
Unfun things in the mode unfortunately feels worse than in normal I think survivors should have longer endurance in this at least like 20s after unhook. Many survivors enjoy using flaslight and doing saves which are not possible in this mode. I think the mode simply need more fun things for survivors to get them to play it.

Well then killers are not giving survivors enough pressure. I have been able to regress 90% gens to 0% easily. Camping 3 gen area in the end is very viable.
1 -
While this is true, swf does eliminate some aspects of the game, for example killer stealth. Undetectable is completely useless against a swf.
However stealth killers are useless if people have eyes and ears anyway so its not a very crucial part of the game.

survivors communicating with each other = fine
Killers having in very minor built in info = BLASPHEMY!!!2 -
people keep making such claims
0 -
this is the issiue im talking about right there. Either we say both is "op" when killers and survivors can communicate in a team or neither is. Dont nitpick what suits just at the moment.
1 -
yeah exactly its always the killers fault and its never unbalanced. But god forbid killers have any slight form of advantage then we storm the forums and complain.
3 -
because 8 survivors fixing 8 gens at the same time is going to be danm impossible, but killers can get a survivor out within 30 seconds of the game.
4 -
30 seconds???? XD
2 -
I know they are always the same lol. But i still do call it out just to see the mental gymnastics they make to "proof" their argument lol.
2 -
lost good arguments did ya
1 -
yes, huntress and nurse on comms on Autohaven can catch a survivor quickly due to massive view, then hit him out, then with right positioning find the cage, stay far enough that people think its safe to unhook, then basically instadown again.
It might be a bit longer before 30 seconds, but it definitely happens before the first gens can pop1 -
Well, what I said was that killers communicating is Not OP and it's just the mere presence of two killers that deletes the funnest part of the game (thanks for reading my post thoroughly)
so I guess by that metric thank you for proving that SWF is completely fair

I need to repeat myself a bit clearer because you didn’t understand me
“It proves how strong Aura Reading can be”
Whenever people show what perks are good for solo queue and what perks are good for new players/designed for new players, they tend to be aura reading on both sides
Whenever a new really strong perk drops, guess what, alot of the time aura reading is involved (notice how often distortion is complained about)
Not ONCE did I say aura reading was busted in my original sentence, I just said it shows how strong aura reading can be, if anything me jokingly saying “the almighty power of aura reading” might have confused you
Must I clarify that the aura reading in 2v8 is “minor” but its minor enough that if you are in solo queue and notice “oh hey, my teammate is chasing somebody” if you are playing, oh lets say huntress or nurse, that “minor” aura reading is MASSIVE
SWF can be strong, it can be too strong and in the funniest way imaginable, guess what perk was reworked because SWF benefitted from it too much, OoO, an aura perk, because if you can communicate and actually work together you actually can do something, however nowadays we have alot of built in mechanics (HuD in game tells you basically a solid portion of what swf can tell you), you just need to be able to use the info it gives you, all “SWF” tend to be is 4 people who can actually use the info given to them or 4 friends who are not amazing at the game and play it for fun, in solo queue scenarios however like I said before, that is 4 people who all are slowly gaining info and need to utilize that same info3 -
Well objectively speaking, if people make that claim they are just completely and utterly incorrect.
SWF just playing together but not coordinating on comms is one thing but when they are all on comms making callouts all match it is very obviously unbalanced and anyone claiming otherwise is either lying or not the brightest.
This is why comp players have strict rules around perks etc when survivors play competitively with comms - to fix the inherent imbalance

Two killers working together completely eliminates the concept of looping, but don't let reality get in the way of a good tantrum.
6 -
As is typical of the forums, I've seen literally zero complaints about this, except of course this post as a meta complaint thread about an imagined issue.
All of the complaints are surrounding queue times, or why perks aren't available. And I honestly can't imagine anyone would look at a 2 killer game mode and think "no one would ever use comms", since that was about 80% of the entire point of asking for it.
0 -
Don't tell me you expected 2 killers be loop-able in the first place? If you are chased by two killers your only goal is to run towards the nearest corner away from uncompleted gens. Even if you last for 10 - 15 seconds, that is the time that competent survivors spend on doing 2 or 3 gens simultaneously.
Teaming up in this game as killers is the only fun aspect of the mode but the fact that there are potentially 7 other survivors repairing 70 seconds base time gens together puts too much stress out.
1 -
Don't tell me you expected 2 killers be loop-able in the first place?
Oh no, I fully expected this gamemode to be dead in the water for survivors the second people started talking about it.
But to present the issues with the gamemode as little more than 'killers get a bit of info' is infantile.
3 -
The way I see it, the mode is not fun for survivors because there isn't really much difference in terms of fun between having 3 allies or 7 allies. Lack of perks also makes survivor players play the game in a way they probably don't like.
From killer's perspective it's fun because for the first time there's someone else you as player can rely upon if you struggle. Unfortunately the way the mode is designed, the more you try to to cooperate with your team mate the faster you lose the gens. One would expect the absolutely opposite effect here but it's not.

Would you mind linking these posts where people are complaining about killer team ups? Cuz I’m not seeing it. Personally I think it’s fun. The anxiety and chaos of having to try and escape two killers at once is fun for me. I’m not even escaping matches hardly ever but still having fun.
1 -
From what I see (posts and in-game chat) the complaints about killers teaming up are due to the prevention of looping. I think we all saw that one coming because there is such a prevalence to looping for survivors. In many cases it's all they know, without it they can't have fun. Not true for everyone I know but a huge proportion of survivors have said they will never play 2 v 8 for this reason, hence the lack of survivors and the 400% BP incentive. Not surprising if survivors that loop every match try playing 2 v 8 then complain the killers are teaming up stopping them loop.
