MMR situation in 1v4

Now that most of the playerbase is playing the aforementioned 2v8 gamemode, how are the games in normal 1v4 ATM? Is the MMR completely off the rails (more than usually) now that so many people are playing event mode? How are the waiting times for a game?

    Upwards of 10-15 minutes for killer :/

    So not really worth it to be honest.

    There was a period at first that felt very erratic. There was a big difference between different players in terms of ability. However, from my experience (UK servers), the last couple of days has seen more balance.

    This may be a mix of some players revisiting the 1v4 mode to play a few trials, or since the second Tome opened perhaps people are diving into that.

    As for waiting times, it's been fairly quick as Survivor, and the Killer hasn't been horrendous (anything between 1-10 minutes), but mostly at the lower end.

    From my experience, although I'm confident in saying 2v8 will have more people playing, the 1v4 mode is still healthy. Also of note, I've not played with the same people, so it's not a regurgitation of the same few players. I think it's fine with numbers.

    long wait times as killer and going against lobbies varying from under 50h to over 1.5k between games

    I really doubt that most players are still playing 2vs8. Nearly everyone i know stopped after 3-4 days or as soon as they finished Part 1 of the Rift. Killers may play longer, cause its just a wreckfest for them. Base game is already as usual.
