Old Ugly sweaters
I recently started playing the game and I noticed the ugly sweaters, and they are not in the shop. It's completely unfair to new players not to have a chance to own them. Is there a chance they'll appear in the shop, at least in Christmas time?? I already lost 8 years of exclusive cosmetic content, some of them should at least go in the shop every once in a while while maintaining their exclusiveness.

it depends. Most do come back eventually.
That’s for event specific ones like the ugly sweaters or Halloween outfits.
Those available in the rift also come back after some time (minimum 6 months after the respective rift closes though usually longer than a year to wait) - some of these outfits and deep rift color variant do not come back however and will stay exclusive.
Also the legacy cosmetics will stay exclusive for those that played/achieved them in the early days.
Edit: forgot a special case, the Attack of Titan licensed cosmetics were only for a while in the shop available and may not returnPost edited by Mooks on0

At least they come back for Christmas. I’ve been waiting almost 2 years for the Night Owl Huntress skin to come back from the rift😭 It’s the last outfit I need for her!

There is at least three other Rift Cosmetics, neither of which are Deep Rift, that still are unavailable, and that is Dwight's Office Santa, Nea's System Smasher, and Legion (Joey)'s Rabid Seadog. Oh and Billy's pig outfit. That's 4. There are others I think, but those are the ones that I desperately want but BHVR just refuses to give us any news about.

yeah i know. That’s why i have written that some do not come to the store..
I don’t know how it’s determined which ones though. I think those that don’t consist of 3 pieces won’t get added to the store as well as those with lower rarity? But I really didn’t myself enough about it and can’t be certain

Basically everything comes back nowadays, only thing that (supposedly) wont come back are Deep Rift cosmetics which are just recolors of the skins in the Rift

The only truly exclusive cosmetic is Legacy. Any Prime skin will eventually release in the shop (I think its after 2 years), any event skin will return during those events (and sometimes during the year).
The only exclusive-exclusive skins would be like Nancy, Steve and Demogorgon when they left DBD, as those skins were tied to a license. If the license expires, then the skin becomes truly exclusive.0 -

Well yeah that's.. The thing is, Mandy said that eventually All Very Rare and Rare cosmetics would come to the store, she didn't as I recall say there would be exceptions… and yet, if so where is System Smasher, Office Santa, Sunday Slaughter, and Rabid Seadog? What makes it worse is that Office Santa was on the free track the time I joined the game but I joined too late to have a chance to finish the Rift (and I didn't buy it therefore) so I have the shirt but not the pants and head, so it triggers the heck out of my Collection OCD, having only part of a set and being unable to obtain the complete set.
