Survivors don't rescue on hook in 2v8
This is why i play killer people dont seem to rescue other Survivors in this mode and people dont heal anyone else dealing with the same?

I've played maybe 150 games in this mode and maybe 1 or 2 survivors were left to die in the cages ?
I don't think that happen very often, but that's my opinion

I guess i have bad luck in these things

I just played 2 rounds myself and watched maybe 6 more, but not in a single one someone died or they didn't heal to a high amount.

Well, to be honest, in those games where a survivor died in cage, I was that survivor…
7 people alive and : not a single one in a chase, not a single one on a gen, everybody doing totem and chests

I've had the opposite problem. When someone is caged, it feels like EVERYONE is rushing to save. No one is on the generator as five people sprint to the cage...

Yeah it's wild, it's either no one comes or half the lobby does, sometimes even including killers! Often same with getting healed, you'll have like 4 people trying to heal you, like wut, go do a gen!

The funny thing is - we are starting to see the creation of a new cycle, just like ones that plague the original version of the game.
I agree, people are not recusing from the hook, and people aren't healing which is annoying, but there is a reason. Is it a coincidence that this has happened at the same time as killers getting confident with the hook spawns, keeping track of who they have hooked and racing across the map to find the person who was hooked, down them again as well as those trying to heal? I don't think so.

"Surely somebody else will save him!" -everybody

I stopped playing 2v8 last week but my experience was either:
- Gens never get done because everyone someone gets caged, 3-4 survivors sprint for that one person instead of staying on gens. Because apparently it always takes 2-3 people to rescue and heal.
- People stopped going for saves because killers began caging and then rushing to said cage to camp to either prevent saving/cause the cage to keep teleporting around the map to prevent the save, or “force hook trades”

I don't know about the cage thing, but you don't need to heal all the time. An overly altruistic team will probably lose against a good duo. You can do whatever you want against a weaker killer team, but against killers that have locked down the pressure, you should really prioritize a nearby gen first if you want to win, and know that you may be the sacrifice for the better good. Just up your loop game.

Depends really, I have been left until second stage a few times but one thing that annoys me more is I find team mates make saving a priority over finishing gens. Survivors can wait a few seconds more but so many just cant seem to wait for the saves and even more want to be immediately healed every time they get injured, it drives me mad

in my experience as survivor it's the exact opposite: 2 to 4 people rush for the unhook like little ants, it's so rare that a cage will let go second/die and that's only against a good pair of killers.

Your experience is totally different from his, that's like when people who play XDefiant say their lobbies are chill & act like the whole game is chill for EVERYBODY, when my lobbies are a absolute nightmare on any PvP I play & no it's not a skill issue, It can't be a skill issue in a game like this where I'm the only one doing rescues as well as gens all by myself or PvP when I'm the only one carrying the squad or in XDefiant, It's not even more so about your squad It's more so about the enemy where they just resort to a week overpowered tactics that they know will grant them an easy win.
