Wasn't it too early to announce FNAF chapter?!
Like don't get me wrong I like being informed ahead and its nice but…
1 whole year ahead? And now when PTB is in just few hours on new licensed chapter… kinda odd :D
The suprise effect will be long gone when summer 2025 comes. Its so far away.

It was FNAFS end that made them announce it early, not BHVR.

I dont play anymore, but may hop back on for FNAF.

Well its fnaf's 10th anniversary so...

Part of it was definitely that the 10 year anniversary was now, but I also think BHVR wanted to announce it in advance so the community stigma around FNAF some people have gets worked out before release. Given what's currently happening, that appears to have been the right idea.

Checks out, tbh I just hope for some teasers or behind the scenes stuff. I love watching that type of things on movies or video games.

It could just be to prevent any leaks from happening and to build hype for FNAF's 10 year anniversary

I'm happy for them to announce it as early as possible so we don't have to keep anticipating it, getting disappointed when it's not it and arguing about it. I feel like the playing the game more now that i know my most wanted collab is going to happen.

I think it's perfect to bring up some controversities in 2024.

The phrase "community stigma" sure is an interesting way to frame funding hateful anti-LGBTQ bigotry.

Man look, if you want my thoughts I have other posts that address the main controversy up front with words you'll like more. If this interaction is gonna turn nasty before I even get to say anything to you, I'm out.
When I say community stigma, I'm not just referring to this controversy. FNAF and DBD have been discussed in numerous ways over the years and many of these discussions involve the games content, tone, target audience, etc. and now of course the controversy. I didn't come to this site to talk politics, I came to talk games, sorry if my vocabulary reflects that, but don't make me out to be something I'm not just because you took my post somewhere it doesn't really delve into.
I love FNAF, I love DBD, I love the LGBT Community. That's that.

Supporting and funding Scott Cawthon is not the behaviour of someone who "love[s] the LGBT community".
It's really that simple.0 -
Alright it's this kinda convo. Look, there's literally nothing I can say to you to change your mind. If you're so convinced anything to do with FNAF makes all the people associated with it awful, I can't help you. All I can say is I don't see the situation as nearly as black and white as you paint it out to be, and there are far better people who are more capable (and more willing) to go in depth with this with you than I am.

Im so glad they announced it now so we can rest from all these ppl claiming EVERY upcoming chapter is going to be FNAF even the original ones 😂
