The amount of survivors DCing/suiciding is insane
It's gotten worse ever since the patch hit.

It'll just keep getting worse until the developers actually put their feet down and do something about it. They're so scared of the survivor player-base that they rather see the game go to ######### than enforcing rules.
That's also why the toxicity is so bad in DbD. The developers never did anything about it to begin with, so it festered and got worse.

I like it that way as a killer. I love it when a survivor disconnects at the beggining of the match but stays untill the end to complain at the chat. So much anger, feed me your anger!

I feel like it will just get worse once survivors get nerfed more since the devs will see that this still won't put killers in a good spot. I feel like the game is fundamentally broken at this point.

Of course it's getting worse.
Dev have been rewarding people that dc continusly.
They still haven't fix the glitch that allow survivor to dc will keeping there item and bloodpoint, it's in the game since day one.
They nerfed freddy because people where dcing against him
They are reworking legion because survivor dc.
Why would they stop?

Even Overwatch with full toxic player, you still get at least a penalty if you dc too much

Yes, very often when you lose connexion (like pulling the plug) your game will react like every one but you dced, meaning that you'll keep the item you have in hand and all bloodpoint you won until then.
Why do you think survivor are leaving by pulling the plug instead of using the quit button?

It's probably because DCing now ######### over the Killer's Devout emblem. I won't be surprised if entitled Survivors start calling DCing a strategy now.

I think this sends a really bad message. I have seen some of the fog whisperer streamers dc regularly for all sorts of reasons. Didn't like the killer, getting tunneled, their team mates were useless etc.
It sends a bad message to all their followers. Especially as they suffer no repercussions for it.

Of course it does. I had 2 people DC on me when I played Doctor for a daily. I had to shock people so I did 3 gen strat as I don't normally play doc. 2 people DCed stayed for end game chat and said "ez depip for you killer" just because they DCed
