The sooner this version of it is gone and they can work on making it have more longevity, depth and variety in the future the better. Good experiment to start with for 2v8, but this one has well overstayed its welcome now.

It's made Huntress the new Skull Merchent in normal mode. Half the lobby quits or kills themself ASAP as soon as they see her!

I have had numerous killers enter a lobby talking trash so this isn't a one sided ordeal.

I'm seeing it both sides. Why? It's super easy to win in this mode both sides.

I just want my Mains and pipping in this mode and then I might actually play it. As it is now it's only good for grinding tome stuff.

The real question is why does it bother you? Not trying to be a smartass but if you find that answer, you may find how not to care about it.

pc huntress and nurse are the worse case scenario for console players and vice versa. we don't move like they do.

As with what Vanta said. This mode is really great for getting tome challenges down, (the generic ones), so I'll keep playing.

As for toxicity? This isn't an us vs them issue, it's just players in general. Everyone knows this community is toxic, doesn't matter the role. The only thing you can do is report when appropriate and not devolve yourself to their level of toxicity.

Only time I've been explicitly toxic has been towards humping killers.

Overall though, I find this mode less toxic than normal. What I do see though are super safe survivors trying to instigate chases while the team crushes gens, but I think they are just desperate because killers are very non committed to chases in this mode 2v8-mode naturally makes killers more picky

How are survivors even toxic in 2vs8?

2v8 has been through most balanced I've ever seen dbd. I've had matches where I was unlucky or two very good killers take the match....but even then...you get 5 gens done...play a good game and lose. Same opposite. The only down side is that if you want to play killer....you have a wait with little rewards. id still love to see this standard game play. 1v4 for the suped up ego centric ones with a nice ranking system…2v8 for the ones that actually want to have fun
