It feels like killers are using vision hacks in 2v8 a lot.
I'm aware that your aura gets revealed when a lot of things happen and you can see the debuff saying you've been revealed. I'm not talking about that.
I'll be hiding behind an object for a full minute or two, and then a killer will make a beeline straight across the map directly to my position for no reason, and come around the object to hit me, when I my aura was never revealed and they never saw me anywhere.
I kept seeing it all day yesterday, it happened to me and it happened to survivors I was spectating too.
The killers coming straight to you at the start of the game and then repeatedly arriving at your position as soon as you get unhooked… those things can possibly be chalked up as advanced knowledge of the spawning positions.
But the knowing where you're at on the other side of the map when you never got revealed and never interacted with them, that's really something else.

If you have 0 hooks on you i think your aura gets revealed when gens get done.

Its not hacks. There is just a lot of aura revealing and no distortion lol

You're not alone and anyone saying it's aura read, you are always notified when "revealed" in 2v8. I think some people miiight have some extra tweaks they trying to hide but doing a bad job.

If you're hiding that much, odds are you haven't been hooked and a gen got done.

Wait, what? If you're hiding behind an object for an actual full minute or two, you get AFK crows. You must know that, you've been playing the game for over a year, so what's actually going on in your matches? And why are you hiding for so long instead of working on a gen or being otherwise useful?
Beyond that, survivor auras are revealed constantly throughout the match. As was said earlier, when a gen pops auras of survivors who haven't been caged yet are revealed. If you haven't played killer, you need to do it at least once to understand just how often auras are shown. When I play killer, it's easy to tell survivors have no idea how often their auras are being revealed as they crouch behind stuff like they're in a normal 1v4 match.

Yeah, if you're playing killer or have multiple scouts on your team in 2v8 you're pretty much getting a constant feed of information.
And you can totally tell lots of survs don't realize their auras are being revealed all the time. 2v8 was not designed with stealth in mind.

Stealth is pretty much a feature exclusive to the Scout class. Killers seriously underestimate just how powerful Iron Will is.

Using an intended mechanic of the mode isn't an exploit, a hack, or a cheat.
This much aura read is intentional in the mode to keep it fast paced and about chase because everyone's overpowered in it. If it bothers you, you could always slap on Distortion in 1v4 mode instead.

Well you did say you were in a spot for a few minutes. If you're aura got revealed before you got there they can remember you running in that direction and check to see if you are still there.

Also there a game sense thing where you look at the sky for the crows flying.
