2v8 Billy
2 v 8 is fun…wait times are rough but it is a blast on both sides when I can get matches
That being said Billy changes make him pure trash. Other killers got buffs but he got gutted. I don't understand why? I really hope BHVR fixes him because he is one of my favorite killers and now I can't even touch him for this really fun mode.

Honestly, even without his instantdown Billy in the 2vs8 mode is still strong: you play him as you have his 'Spiked Boots' (Yellow add-on to increase his turn rate by 40%, that is the best add-ons as all new/old billies are using to make some decent turns in pub).
His exposed effect is the only bad thinghe could have because a 'chainsaw holder' has to use his chainsaw as weapon to down a survivor & not to use his disgusting M1 like a common Trapper.
And he still has his high-speed and his high mobility with/without his Overdrive to go from a side of the map to the other in few seconds.Post edited by n000b51 on0 -
I had this same opinion until I played a few more games with him. Imo he's still got really strong map pressure, which means a ton in a mode where generators go so fast.

Having mained billy for a short time I really didn't like the transition to 2v8. I thought he was pretty easy to loop and his chainsaw was rendered almost useless due to the amount of pallets that can be pre dropped. I've seen people do okay with him when paired with a good player, but for me he was the worst killer out of the group. I much preferred Huntress & Nurse, even though I would consider Bully to be stronger for me personally in normal mode.

Imagine if he had the instadown. He slugs 2 survivors then zooms over to double up on the rest of them.

The full ability of instadown need a little Chance to Stop slugging. Like the chainsaw instadown but with a cool down and the survivor Go instand in a cage

The 2v8 was crazy fun and i kinda agree Billy was a bit under power. He would perform great when tagging wit wraith for the instant downs but that about it. They should've gave him low pro at base given the endless amount of resources

He isn't strong in 2v8

Naturally but he is still good if you can master him (& it is probably the reason why so few play him & use his chainsaw to down someone). Anyway, everyone has a different opinion about him I guess.

I feel like they took all the fun out of him by doing this to him. Huntress got extra hatchets and wraith got faster uncloak and Trapper got more traps but Billy gets nerfed? It just doesn't make any sense

Finally, someone explained his instantdown here:
Hillbilly in 2v8 exposed question
and… I was totally wrong about it. So yes, he isn't strong in 2v8 as in 1v4 !0 -
I had a Hillbilly respawn my cage, and then sprint past my new location as soon as I finished respawning, forcing me to immediately respawn again. He would be broken in 2v8 if he could still insta-down with it, at least at the speed he moves. Maybe the chainsaw could charge faster in 2v8 at least, I don't know.
I did pretty well as him when I tried him, although out of the five he's the only one I really want to play still. Nurse is stressful to play due to her difficulty. I trust other people with the Huntress more (despite what people say, even with the hitboxes it's not as easy as just "point at the Survivor"). I hate trying to take care of all the traps as the Trapper. The Wraith is okay but he's pretty boring outside of his stealth which I'm lazy with.
