2v8

I sure am having a hard time playing survivor after playing 2 vs 8. It isn't fun. Just the same old tunneling and slugging.

Yeah, i'm just gonna wait for 2v8 to return. I never want to play 1v4 again, 1v4 solo survivor is terrible

There were also complains of tunneling and slugging in 2vs8.

    Exaggerated, like usual, but still.

I still had tunnelling, slugging, humpteching, and bad Killer behavior in 2v8.

I promise it was always still there, please stop exaggerating like 2v8 was the perfect casual utopia. It had a meta settled in by mid week 2. It had serious flaws that need to be addressed before it's ever considered for permanent as a mode. And it absolutely decimated queue times both sides. There was sweat both sides once both realized who the strongest Killer pairs and strongest roles were. Oh, and the mode was also a bit more Survivor sided than people give credit for, IMHO.

Please. Just stop trying to gaslight all of us that this mode was perfect in every way with no flaws and that the same stuff that occurred in 1v4 didn't happen in it AT ALL. It did. I saw it. It happened to me and to friends playing with me. Because competitive people don't just stop going hard because they're in the casual mode… they continue to sweat. And they did continue to sweat in 2v8, it was just harder to do it and had to be done differently.

If you really HAVE to have overpowerered Survivor classes, overly many pallets every five feet, and big as Texas maps to confound the Killers to have fun as Survivor, I think it may be best if you take a break instead. I don't think 2v8 returning is gonna fix it for you, either because… sorry to say… but the sweaty mindset was still there.

I mean the 2v8 was actually balanced and killers weren't massively overpowered like in the normal mode so even if the killers played sweaty survivors would feel like they have an actual chance to escape. Interesting that you call a slightly more balanced mode " survivor sided" and the survivor classes "overpowered". Killer mains feel entitled to almost always a 3 or 4k. Right now killer in the normal mode is easy difficulty and survivor is hardcore mode. And be careful what you wish for about survivors taking a break because then you'll just get the massively long que times again.

I saw more slugging and tunnelling in one week of 2v8 than I did in like a month of 1v4

I am not saying it was perfect, but I thought it was fun. I actually escaped some matches during this mode. Yes, I know there are jerks on both sides, but at least you could pick yourself up off the ground when slugging if you had reached the second hook state without having to run Bill's perk. I played 7 matches last night, and I was the only survivor in those 7 matches that escaped. I only escaped because the killer gave me the hatch. That is not fun.
