What if the nurse is slow to recover?

Any time a nurse is stunned in any way, she will need a long time to recover.

So instead of recovering from a pallet hit in 2 seconds, it will take her 8 seconds , this applies to all when you are stunned her by any means.

I say this because when you stun the nurse it won't make a difference she'll just hit you anyway.

I play survivor alot and I can tell you that this would just ruin the nurse. I really don't mind going against them seeing how hard it is to play her effectively

i like going against nurse too. You don't have to trip about teammates using up the resources because all of the counterplay rely on your movement. At least she actually get punish for missing unlike over drive billy

An 8 second stun is overkill. As someone said in a previous thread, I think her power being disabled shortly after a pallet stun would be a preferrable change. Something like 4 or 5 seconds would be nice and make pallets viable to play around.

Achieving a good result as Nurse is not that hard.

There are a lot of killers, where the player has to put in a lot more effort to get a good result.

Mastering nurse is hard. Winning with her is not.

Just make her go into fatigue if she is stunned after she has teleported but before going into fatigue, just like it was before they rewrote her code. That felt fair. Still more punishing to newer Nurse players than experienced ones, but still.

Age old conversation but personally as someone who quit maining Nurse early on because I felt guilty this is one of the few changes I'd like to see for her. Realistically you won't really get stunned in most cases anyway it's just salt on a survivor when you stun the Nurse and she just shrugs it off and blink strikes you anyway. You basically need a teammate to come assist you in this case.

I'd like to see pallets put her power on CD until she has fully recovered and then it charges like normal. Yes that would just be like an extra second or so at most for a survivor to run but it's better than what it is now. I would be in favor of DS and Headon also doing this as well.

If Plague can get a nerf like this for their power I don't see why it shouldn't apply to Nurse who is just more consistent throughout the entire game. Yes apples and oranges but tell me how many times as Nurse do you get stunned outside of headon and DS? Realistically probably little to none. Get stunned with DS or Headon? Legitimately as soon as both stuns end you can usually close the distance with the survivor immediately after the stun is over anyways.

Yeah, I feel like if you don't run in a straight line and dodge and weave behind objects, it's actually quite fun to play against Nurse as it creates a sort of mind game as they're trying to anticipate where you're at behind whatever obstacle you're behind.

I do think the whole pallet stuns would introduce a nice gameplay mechanic for skill expression, especially as they removed lightburning to prevent her from blinking. I think that change would actually have Nurses somewhat mindful of pallet stuns instead of just blinking and not being slowed down in any capacity, even if they're pallet stunned... They just recover and hit you anyways.

I believe the developers have said that they don't want any perks or items to disrupt a killer's power due to the implementation of how it would affect other killer's and their powers.

I wouldn't be opposed to Nurse having a cooldown if hit with any stun, but I feel pallet stuns are a more practical compromise to at least introduce some counterplay to Nurses who freely blink through pallets without any repercussions.

Hell, Blight loses his rushes if he gets pallet stunned through a pallet - I don't understand why Nurse can always just outright ignore a fundamental part of the game due to her teleportation.

Just give her a third health state status effect or something. Nurse feels great and unique to play and have been the same for so many years now. She can stay the way she is but she really needs to pay a much bigger tax for it.

this actually used to be in the game as a bug. If you stunned nurse with a pallet during or just after a blink then she would get stunned and then also go into fatigue, result in a roughly 5 second stun. But alas bugs get removed :(

Bring back fatigue on pallet stuns.

I think the nurse is fine. She's not a killer just anyone can get value out of. Before my 3 year long break I played nurse alot and still do pretty decent with her. Same with the blight although a couple Add-ons might need slight tweaking but otherwise he's fine. If I go down to blight or nurse it's mostly my fault for not thinking ahead of time about my timing with pallets usually

Nurse really isn't a strong killer as we think

Pallet stunning a Nurse used to mean something but the double stun was considered a bug and patched out.

They should make it a feature like some other bugs
