Question on cross progression on PlayStation

I want to set up cross progression between my pc & PlayStation account but I am unsure if it would work because I god DBD when it was available for free on my Ps plus subscription. Will I be fine to set up cross progression?
I'm asking because I know that people that got DBD on Xbox games pass were not eligible for cross progression.

I was able to setup progression between my PC account and my Ps plus account. You should be fine.
