Does anyone miss the old healing process
Self care use to be so common back then and the devs just nerfed it to the ground 😔. Same with circle of healing but you have to find teammates to heal each other. Strength and shadows isn’t too bad but sometimes going into the basement can be risky sometimes. If you had medkit with addons I guess that’s the luckiest you have.

Actually no, I don't miss how quick survivors could heal themselves and how safe CoH was.

I mean, it should be risky. It's a video game, risk is the fun part. Safe is boring. No one ever talks about the fun they had sitting on five gens while the killer watched, they talk about the awesome late-game save they just barely pulled off with the killer on their ass and NOED still up and their controller spontaneously combusting.

Last escape was so hot, my mouse AND my keyboard literally burst into flames. Phew.

Efficient multiple self heals was just not good for the balance of the game so no I don't miss old heals.

Resurgence is amazing now, highly recommend. I used to always bring a medkit but since Weave + Franklin's boomed I've stopped bringing items and the buff to Resurgence came at the right time.

Old healing was really good but with sloppy nerfs I think it's fine.
99'ing a heal is still incredibly powerful.

Think the new healing is where it should be. Circle of healing was way too powerful.
Resurgence like another user above mentioned. Highly recommend0 -
Even now, when healing is "nerfed", there is a common case when you hit a survivour and next second hes healed.
There is nothing hard in getting healed even in soloq right now.

Pre Medkit and CoH nerf was absolute misery, so good riddance. You still have some pretty good options to self heal, a Medkit with the bonus skillcheck progress addon and a syringe is still really strong, and lets you do two very efficient self heals.

Old healing resulted in injured states feeling useless to the killer side. A hit did only mean something if it was a down.
Of course, it was nice to be a lot more safe as a survivor. Too much safety is a problem though.

For a solo q player I think it hurt us the most because you can't Communicate with your teammates and it's hard to find players to heal you so it becomes not worth healing just Set at a Gen and rapier while injured which is boring to do all the time.

no I don’t miss when survivors could outheal killer hits with self care spinechill botany knowledge and effectively trap killers in corners indefinitely.
I also don’t miss when COH just gave the entire team a fifth perk for free (self care)
I also don’t miss insta heals

Circle of healing needs to have self care back again, but only if you're running the perk.
The self care wasn't the problem, it was 4 people getting self care from 1 perk. If all 4 survivors run circle, there's no reason it shouldn't allow self care for the survivors who brought the perk.

I don't like how survivor role is just watching a bar fill.

with resurgence and a medkit with the 2 skill check addons = a ~3 second self heal if you can hit 1 skill check. I love running wicked + resurgence + head on. It’s super good. Pretty much instant heal, jump in a locker and then stun the killer if they come back to the hook.

Nope, not missing that in the slightest. It was straight up unhealthy for the game, even though you felt a sharp increase in gen efficiency, with no survivor going out of their way to setting up a healing station … but that healing station was jut way too good and I will take todays situation every time.

i had to take a long break after coh was released, this should tell how much i miss that broken mess.

Self-care was meta for a ridiculously long amount if time, it definitely ran its course.
