Should…I care about if something is seen as toxic?
like I genuinely don’t really care that much, I’m just playing casually and I am not doing a rulebook following let the last goober out in hatch. I’m a killer, I’m supposed to kill, and some extra rulebook stuff is stupid. I still respect them like not taunting and not playing like a jerk. Do you respect it? I count tbagging as toxic as it’s used as a taunt.

I think it's a good exercise in empathy to not make others miserable in a match, within reason. If someone just got off a miserable shift at their job and wants to relax on a game, I don't want to make them hate their life even more.

No just do what you want, someone in this game will always tell you that you played "wrong" or "toxic", at the end you will most likely be the one that gets insulted if you lose even if you played nice. That's why I use everything I can get but don't run after after anything, I don't care if I tunnel but I won't force it ether most of the time same with camping.
Dead by daylight is not an relaxing game in general so I don't even think about that:
Survivors have 3 hookstates and then they're dead, so you have constant stress to not getting killed.
Killers lose gens super quickly if they don't down quick so they have constant stress to down as quick as possible and hopefully get someone out.
Of course that's more for people that are on mid-high mrr, someone playing this game once a weak won't probably have to sweat or worry as much. But dbd isn't really relaxing by design still.
