"Iridescent ring of vlad" Dark Lord add-on doesn't work

Playing on PC.

Issue is pretty simple, this add-on removes a pillar, and that's it, there is no homing effect, I've tried many times, I've also tried against bots just to be sure, really nothing.

I'm not sure what "homing" is intended to be, but I didn't notice any kind of auto aim, any kind of movement of the pillars, or any kind of pillars spawning in the direction of a survivor. It's basically a straight line in front of me regardless of the presence of survivors. except one fewer pillar.

    I think it’s just that the homing is so weak and needs to actually float to them
