About "Oppression" Perk

First of all, I'm not a killer player, but I really like this perk. The only downside is the cooldown is quite long. I think it pairs well with the Surveillance perk. As far as I know, it doesn’t work with the Nowhere to Hide perk, but I think it would be great if it did.Do you think Oppression and Nowhere to Hide should work together? What do you think about this?

Edit : I misunderstood the 'Nowhere to Hide' perk, it's not about the area around the generators but the area around the killer. So, of course they can't be combined.

They can't really do this, because than other kicking perks start working. Like oppression with pop.

Nowhere to hide is already best aura reading perk for most killers.

Oppresion with surveilance is a good combo, but survivors will probably land that hard skillcheck giving you fake information. But good for regressing and controlling the map.

I should not "kick" all gens. Triple pop/no where to hide is too much.

Another good thing is that those gens regress without burning 1 of 8 damage instances before blocking.

And yeah still somewhat a big CD but at least is not 80 like before, that was insane, but a decent perk for kick builds.

i see the suggestion, but as far as i know how nowhere to hide works is it just shows auras near killer when they kick a gen so it doesn't have anything to do with affected gens. also no, that buff would be a bit much especially paired with eruption.

OMG, sorry, i misunderstood it. I thought it referred to the area around the damaged generators. Now that I’ve read it again, I see it actually refers to the area around the killer. I apologize for missing that

Btw it's good on killers with fast teleport like Sadako, or Unknown.

You can combine it with Lethal Pursuer and check locations other than just gen area.

Nowhere to Hide shows the aura of survivors around you not the kicked gen.

Oppression recently got it's CD significantly buffed and it's a perk that can get around the 8 regression event limit. So I think the perk is already in a pretty good spot.

    Quite long? It's 40 seconds.

They actually cut the perk's cool down by half so it's not very long now due to it only having a 40 second cool down now instead of the old 80 second cool down.

However the buff that I think Oppression should get is that, since it doesn't work with other gen regressing perks, it should just be made to where it regresses gens at a faster rate than normal(even if it's just SLIGHTLY faster) and, instead of a skill check for survivors working on targeted gens it should just kick them off of the gen and block it for a short period of time then start regressing the gen after it isn't blocked anymore. Yes, this would remove the chunk of progress that failing the skill check would remove, but it'd be made up for by the sped up regression speed and the gen blocking would be making the perk a little more consistent.

I think really all it needs now is to apply the 5% to all the gens it hits really. With the shorter cooldown it can be much better but it needs to apply at least that.

Agreed that is what it needs at the minimum. I think your idea would just be a buff and mine would be more of a rework. The only reason I thought that the gen blocking part would be a cool touch instead of a skill check is because the icon for Oppression is a hand grabbing the gen so gen blocking would fit that icon since it'd essentially be the entity grabbing the gen.
