deathslinger ads change proposal

current enter ads is 0.4 seconds, exit is 0.6 seconds.

old enter and exit ads was 0.15 seconds.

understandably the nerf was introduced to remove "faking shots" at windows, leaving survivors in a catch 22.

but with the long ads enter speed, survivors always make it behind cover, or do sharp turns before you could aim, so you kinda have to heard survivors into a opening to attempt a shot, but if the enter ads wasnt as slow it wouldnt be as bad. so this is what i propose.

a faster enter ads, to attempt shots much faster, and a slower exit ads, to remove "faking" shots.

numbers could be enter ads 0.20 and exit ads 0.80 seconds. numbers could be changed but this new way encourages quick draws but, punishes chickening out. thoughts?

too strong? no difference?

yeah, sounds fine to me. old ADS was never an issue for me, the free faking was. if that got gutted further i'd gladly take faster windup

Quick scoping and shooting at those numbers would leave very little room for dodging by the survivor, so the numbers would need to be very carefully looked at. The ideal is to make it so it's difficult but possible to dodge and to not M2 fake.

I've enjoyed the current iteration of slinger alright because it can reward prediction shots instead of just outspeeding the survivor. It can feel good for the slinger player and be respected by the survivor when that happens.

they have tried buff deathslinger many times so far. i don't think any of their change made any impact. current ads is too easy to react on, so survivor gets to dodge shots on reaction as spear flies out of his gun. its current iteration discourages slinger from taking risky long range shots and makes his gun feel like a mid-range nemesis whip.

faster wind-up is neccassary for slinger's kit to function.

At longer ranges you would have to make a prediction style shot, but at closer ranges it keeps a small chance of counterplay on the gun which is a nice thing.

Faster windup would negate or largely reduce both of these.
