Killers Holding Hole team hostage by refusing to kill/hook Us
Anyone notice there will be games killers just down you but refuse to hook i wouldn't say slugging but half slugging? so making the game last 40 plus minutes i had a few of them today just kill us pleaseeeeeeeeeeee we lost. dont need to be a douche and 5 gen everything, all of our team was still alive

Honestly i hate these killers more then tunnelers and campers even i don't hate them.

As long as the game can potentially end you aren't being held hostage. That only applies if they can keep the game going indefinitely. Slugging you isnt holding you hostage. If someone if up they can do gens, if people are bleeding out they die in 4mins, both can advance the match state.

Wait….how? You die on the ground in 4 minutes… it doesn't take 40 minutes to die. If killer is refusing to eather bleed you out or hook you just do gens?

Whats not to get we kept healing from the ground trying to do gens, get pushed away from gens killer refuses to hook us repeat my hole team was trying to do the gens

Yeah sorry… you guys had 4 members alive as you said. You can crawl into a corner away from the gens and from the killer if you are downed so the killer can't camp the gens and you on the ground. People can separate themselfs and go for different gens while the killer is being campy boi or girl.
Sorry.. this is on you guys. I'm not saying what the killer was doing is nice but theres NO WAY killer can hold 4 different people hostage for 40 minutes without you guys bleeding out first if he slugs you and you guys getting 0 gens done.

There will always be killers who slug. There are nasty players on both sides. I don't like sluggers eather, but if that match took 40 minutes as you said which X for doubt by the way, its on you survivors at that point. Like i said crawl away from the killer and from the gens. Crawl away from the other survivors and don't give the huntress or any killer easy camp. Rest of the team can do gens while you bleed out. It sucks sure but its better than prolonging the match no?

You can do gens, you are not held hostage.

If there is a 4% (there is a feeling of 20%) chance of getting off the hook and risking DS, DH or OtR being used to rebuild the game directly or escape from the hatch, it may be left for less than 4 minutes. The number of situations where there are more disadvantages than advantages to hanging in the hutches has increased recently, and the match time has been stretched out and not accumulated.

This is kind of correct.
In the sense that OP is saying, where they bleed out in 4 minutes, you're correct. The devs have said directly that slugging until bleedout isn't holding the game hostage.
However, the game automatically ends after 60 minutes. And things like the killer body blocking one survivor in a corner to force them to die after the other survivors finish gens, or two survivors hiding for extreme amounts of the without trying to progress the game, are both examples of hostage taking, even though the game technically still ends.

The killer was not slugging us more like just trying to drag the game out it like a simi slug i would call it

You could try and report it as greifing, but the only way killers can really hold the game hostage is by body blocking you in a corner, or by holding a 3 gen for an extended amount of time without attempting to hook or down anyone.
I get that being slugged isn't fun, and that's a separate discussion, but the official stance of the devs is that those 4 minutes of bleeding out *are* progressing the game (because you're dying) and slugging isn't holding the game hostage.
Separately, I fully agree that it's a ######### move, and I've wanted a "give up" option for slugs after they hit "find help" for several years now. I have no indication that the devs are interested in doing so.
