I'm almost positive the Gatekeeper emblem is bugged
I've been hitting iridescent 1 on killer every month since 2021, and I've never had so much trouble pipping on killer.
And the reason is the Gatekeeper emblem.
I've had multiple games now where I 3-4k before the gens get done and without the exit gates opening and Gatekeeper refuses to progress past Silver.
The game that convinced me something is wrong is this one I just played.
In this match, I played a 12 hook game. The survivors took quite a long time to finish a single generator, and even longer to finish the second one.
I ended the match on a 4k with the exit gates closed and 3 gens remaining, and it definitely lasted longer than 9 minutes. I think it took over 9 minutes just for them to finish the second generator.
I got iridescent in every category except Gatekeeper, which was Silver.
This is a rough one since I have no hard evidence, but I can't think of any other explanation for what's going on here. This just doesn't make any sense.

I'm sure the code around this emblem is not working as intended, or maybe descriptions are so WRONG about how to get it, but I found how to do it after a LOT of attempts.

Several people made posts about it, me included (eventually people even started to use bring logs & videos since nothing was getting acknowledged).
People are starting to notice it more (I assume it's because of the rank reset combined with new tome challenges requiring certain emblem ranks) so hopefully something will get done.

It's definitely bugged. I just had a game where I 4k'd.
It lasted at least 9 minutes. And the survivors only got 1 gen done, and that wasn't until after the 9 minutes had passed. No exit gates were opened. And I somehow got a bronze gatekeeper emblem for a game that I'm pretty sure should have been iridescent.
I was playing Onryo and I did mori someone, but that was not until the end of that game and I don't think that's supposed to effect gatekeeper anyway.

I can't complete any challenges right now to do with Gatekeeper because of this bug. The game I just played that made me come here to finally comment I timed according to the description. At 9 minutes I had 10 hooks without a single generator having been completed. This wasn't because they hadn't been working them, I was kicking them constantly; all had had progress at one point or another. At 12 minutes I got the 4k without one single gen being completed or door being opened. Only had silver for the gatekeeper emblem. I'm not sure how much better you can do than that game to even get iri.
Edit: Literally next game after posting this I got iri. It was 9.5 minutes long. One gen completed. I kicked gens maybe twice. I'm even more confused lol.

It seems nobody bothered to check my answer where I explain how I get iri gatekeeper emblem. Same as the other post xd So I'm not telling again how the emblem how actually work. Of course it's bugged but it's not that hard to get iri while they fix it.
