This type of changes will have more serious consequences in the future /SM/
Survivors will cheer the SM nerfs but this shows something far more sinister that BHVR is doing and may have consequences for the future killers of this game and how things will be handled.
The fact that a killer can get overnerfed so hard that Skull merchant will become the next Freedy because enough survivors DC/Throw on hook against this killer is a problematic approach. Not even reasonable changes for her, just a complete annihilation.

If this was true, they would’ve brought back Overheat Billy, Revert Knight Guard cancelling, and not keep the buffs to Singu, Nemesis, and Huntress. Freddy was nerfed because Forever Freddy was genuinely a problem and people keep forgetting about that. I agree he should’ve had something done to him years ago but they’ve only now started embracing larger scale mid chapters for some reason.
tldr: based sm nerf, Billy will still be a gigachad, and no one on bhvr is intentionally looking at a Killer like Wesker and contemplating 100 ways to gut them

Do you like the SM changes cause you feel its balanced, or is it only out of spite. I can say with absolute confidence that people will 100% still let themselves die on hook, this isn't a fair or balanced change, people are only cheering out of spite.

The problem is a lot of people like Billy, Nemesis and Huntress to counteract all that. Hell, Knight may end up getting gutted again due to people hating him too eventually, if people start throwing on hook at the same rate SM gets.
In SM's case, people are still going to DC/throw on hook even after these changes for awhile just because it's SM and they figure it's justified even if SM gets gutted. I guarantee it.1
