The Candelabra Was A Nice Addition To Lights Out
Lights Out is 90% less miserable to play as a survivor this time around. It'll never be my preferred game mode but I do appreciate the changes that were made. Being able to actually find generators is such a huge quality of life improvement. The first game of survivor I played, I was on The Doctor's map and didn't initially understand what the candelabras actually did so I was stumbling around lost looking for gens most of the game. It was incredibly frustrating. Then I tried using the candelabra and just like magic the game was actually fun.

Yeah i think this iteration of lights out is a lot better than the original. Only problem is that if survivors hold candles they are screwed when getting chased, because they are highly visible even through walls.

Yeah, that is true. But I also think that is fully intentional. It should be a double edged sword. Survivors can always drop the object too though that might be tricky mid chase.

Those candles are a lifesaver for Bat form

I agree, they set the mood so well.

The candles are cool. If nothing else, I like the aesthetic.
They can do a lot of good when used strategically. I wish teammates wouldn't sabotage the strategic use of candelabras by picking them up for no reason and escaping with them or dropping them in the middle of nowhere when they get downed by the killer. I don't know if they do it on purpose or because they don't understand just how useful and necessary the bright white aura is to help teammates navigate the map, but it's frustrating.
