The herd mentality is beyond annoyance
It's this hinderance which is a real set back towards true balance. Because of this mentality, Skull Merchant have to suffer from this, and she wasn't the only killer who suffered from this, take a look at Freddy Krueger for example.
This weakness needs to be rooted out before you make another mistake again. This can't be approved for PTB.

The dev update had the single most unhealthy proposed changes I have ever seen. I am honestly shocked they approved it to be even posted. I would be embarassed if I had been the one to suggest these changes. Corrective Action giving free great skill checks basically forever with Hyperfocus in the game? Poised giving free aura reading on the killer just for tapping a gen? Predator giving free aura reading for losing chase with Nurse in the game? Zanshin Tactics giving free aura reading near dropped pallets with a lot of the killers in the game? Skull Merchant gutted because crybabies still hate her from how she launched? Billy nerfed across the board? Twins made clunkier after they had just made them less clunky? Unknown nerfed?
Whoever came up with these ideas needs to be off the team.4 -

Corrective Action was something else. It was so obvious to stack with a duo and Hyperfocus. I think they put that in there on purpose to look like they are buffing less things once they scale it back or prevent if from stacking.

You are making it sound like they didn‘t do that in a regular bases. All Meta perks got this treatment sooner or later. Don‘t you remember Ultimate weapon and Made for this, both needed only some smaller nerfs that kept them in a good spot, but they nuked both of them out of existence. That are only the most recent perks I have in mind and I could make this list very long, I could even put maps there like haddonfield.

You realize missing a skill check (to activate corrective action) removes any of your hyperfocus stacks, right?
This combo has anti synergy and at least one person is wasting a perk slot in this scenario.

Corrective Action missed skilled checks will be counted as Great skill checks now. It's the same like Tapp's perk, hitting good skill checks will count as Great skill checks. Therefore it still allows you to get Hyperfocus stacks. Get it.

My understanding was that it converts the skillcheck, but who actually ran Corrective Action for a Hyperfocus teammate in the first place lmao. I thought Surv B fails the skillcheck, and Surv A's CA converts that into a great (newly buffed, good previously), which would prevent the failure from counting as a failure, and since it was converted to a great, it would count as another token for Hyperfocus, as well as regaining a token on their own CA if they also had it.
