Why is hag still able to put traps in front of hooks
Gameplay flaw that’s been in the game for too long also makes playing against her extremely boring way outdated mechanic

This is not the only thing in the killer side is busted you understand doctor can deny the unhook forever if he wants with his power, and also Myers can tombstone you if you get unhooked and you can't do anything about it because you are not able to move after being unhooked, and there is many examples.

Before you could wipe away her traps I would agree but now that you can I feel like she's in a good spot at the moment.

If a Doctor manages to prevent the unhook forever, then you as a survivor did something wrong. Unhook when he isn't around and when he stays around the hook the AFC takes care of the rest.
A camping Tombstone Myers could not be stopped even if you were able to move immediately. He would still mori you. These addons are as outdated as the rest of him but for some reason the devs seem to be allergic to changing him.

Myers is set for a change, though I believe the Tombstone add-ons should be kept as they are.

How much more counterplay do you want against her? She only has the most in the game, bar Wraith and Singularity.

I know that they said they will give him an update eventually but they also said that with Twins in 2022. So that might still take a few years. Although, credit where credit is due; the last few mid chapters have been stuffed with content, so maybe it won't take that long after all.
Maybe the Tombstone itself can stay. The Tombstone Piece however should go. The Tombstone itself has the downside that you need forever to even get to tier 3. The Tombstone Piece not so much. You may lose 2-3 gens but then 1 survivors is dead. I don't think that's good design but I also think they are a nice little reminder of old DBD. So I'm a little on the fence about them.

I agree. No other killer makes me have goosebumps like a Tombstone Myers does. It’s so thrilling.

Or are we supposed to just crouch-walk everywhere, the entire match? She can see you're going for the unhook and will race over there. What's the next step of your plan?

because as long as a counter exists, some people will say to just do that and no problem
most will run teleport add on and teleport back the second you unhook and tunnel person off hook, immediately eating through their endurance and negating any anti tunnel perks
just play a hag like 2 games ago and that was the exact play style, just like majority of the hags you come across. It’s not that she’s good, that type of stuff is just boring

Not sure how it's a gameplay flaw, camping is a valid tactic on any killer. Just so happens it doesn't comply with survivor rules of no camping, no tunneling, no slugging, no noed, no doing anything that stops survivors from escaping. There are counters, just have to learn to use them.

I think the Tombstone Piece should stay if they gave the survivors a warning.
And I think I have a good way of doing so.
Myers used to have a sound cue that indicated his Tier 3 was close. Perhaps we could make Tombstone Piece play that sound cue when he is about to tier up.

A perfect addition to a perfect game, I'd say. I really, really loved the Old DBD.
Every little thing from that period they return to us is a small victory in my book.
