the unknown blurry photo is an awful change
on live, the teleport recovery is 1.7 seconds, or 0.85 seconds with BP.
on PTB, the teleport recovery is 1.4 seconds, or 1.19 seconds with BP.
not only is 1.4 long enough where blurry photo is still required to be run if you want any kind of aggressive teleport plays, the blurry photo recovery itself has been nerfed.
please let us keep the current blurry photo effect. 1.19 seconds recovery feels so bad.

They should just make it 0.85 seconds at base and rework Blurry Photo. It feels really bad on the PTB.

this would be ideal, but i'd take having to use the addon over not being able to even do that

Agree. Blurry Photo is not beloved by the Unknown players because it gives you normal speed back faster, it changes the way you can play with your Hallucinations. You can use them as an antiloop power and this should be basekit because it makes Unknown better but also increases his skill ceilling.
The PTB change is just awful and feels more like an awkward nerf.

I don't like the trend BHVR has of making a nerfed version of the must have add-on base kit. It almost defeats the whole purpose >_>

Yeah they really should just make it fully basekit and make the add-on do something else. Making one of the better feeling (and imo better balanced) killers feel worse to play is kinda weird.

In fact what I really think they should do is make Discarded Milk Carton a common add-on (so people who like the feel of the extra bounciness can use it more often) and make Blurry Photo (with a new effect) the purple.

At the very least, the recovery time with the addon shouldn't be worse than it was before.
Blurry Photo was a must-run because it allowed the hallucinations to be used much more effectively in chase compared to without. Making it partially basekit but then nerfing it to the point where the end result even with the addon is worse than before doesn't really fix the issue. I would understand it if the addon made Unknown too strong, but it didn't.

Hallucinations being free anti-loop and also being insane for camping hook from anywhere on the map makes this change okay with me.

I hate how they said they would make some of popular addon's effect part of base kit, but then made the addon completely useless "to adjust"
