Finisher moris defeat the purpose of the hatch existing.
I see what y'all are trying to do with this idea, but I personally don't think it's a very good one. Keeping moris locked behind 3k just means that killers (not all, of course, but quite a few) are going to start slugging for the 4k, not allowing a single opportunity for hatch escapes. While hatch isn't a win condition for survivors, it is supposed to be a last attempt for an escape, but with finishers, it's basically taking the hatch entirely out of the equation and just deleting it.
My suggestion would be to either rework how hatch spawns, rework finishers themselves and how killers are able to use them, or just nix the whole process entirely.
(Also, hatch challenges still exist in earlier tomes, so for those players who are trying to go back and finish earlier tome challenges, finisher moris now make those hatch challenges practically impossible to complete.)

It's only an issue if it's automatic, why not let Killers choose between hatch or Mori?

The killer literally has the option to kill the survivor, it’s not automatic.

There is no interference between these two outcomes.
On the first attempt of this mechanic it was automatic. Here it's not.

Hence why I said what I did. It's not an issue UNLESS the Killer doesn't choose. The Killer gets to choose, so Mori on last guy standing isn't an issue.

Fair enough; perhaps I was merely jaded by just about every single match I had played in the PTB prior to posting about this ending with slugs for 4k so they could pull off the finisher, haha.
I still think it's going to encourage slugging more, though. I know there are people who play this that are going to slug no matter what, but it might get quite a bit more common should this be brought to live.
