BHVR is overdoing it with all the aura reading
I mean, chases are fun and all, but I sometimes I want to stealth a bit, especially with a lot of maps now having absolutely nothing to work with I don't want to be seen at all times againts billy or Bubba who can one shot you easily.
Do others feels the same?

Yes absolutely.

No i disagree. Most aura reading perk are garbage/not worth the perk slot. for example Nurse calling has been a perk that read aura for ages and who uses it, I almost never encounter the perk. I'm all ears is very old perk and who uses that, again no one. Ultimate weapon, still haven't seen this perk get used after the change.
weak aura perk are irrelevant. strong aura perk are impactful.
that is the ones you typically see. BBQ, Nowhere to hide, Weave attunement, Lethal pursuer(?). Maybe you can make a case for Scourge hook: flood of rage. Zanshin tactic might have some potencial but it might not. The only thing you can argue is whether these more popular aura perk are too strong or just right.

Aura is such a low-skill way to play.

It depends.

I would rather play an aura build that gets into chases quickly as opposed to 3-4 slowdown perks. A meta revolving around aura perks is way healthier and more fun than one around slowdown which is why there has not been an aura meta in recent years (no WA + Franklin's does not count). Thats just me though, I like playing the game for the chase aspect not as a QTE simulator for 3 minutes.

It doesn't.

Aura reading can be hidden by a locker or close the killer. So it can work. But 'sometimes' it doesn't.
BBQ like 'Friends 'til the End' will not necessarily reveal your target all the times (especially against Billy or Bubba). You need something else.
So 'such a low-skill'… it depends. I'm using 'Dead Man Switch' to counter the counter to the aura reading…2 -
Aura reading is unintuitive.
Especially for newer players. It is natural that you try to hide if the killer comes.
You don´t expect to be seen when you are in a good hiding spot. That is the reason new players often think someone is cheating… like "how the hell did he look there… he must be cheating"
And this is gonna get worse with this update.

Some are fine, but I'm still of the opinion that perks ought to be either offer smaller benefits, or unique interractions. Some aura perks can be obnoxious (on both sides), and especially since more and more perks are being made which can be layered upon each other then certain builds are just ridiculous.

then let's nerf Windows of opportunity if we talk about "overdoing it with aura reading"
3 -
There's a massive difference between aura reading players and aura reading inanimate objects.

'And this is gonna get worse with this update.'
Really ? What is in this update gonna get worse ? I should have missed the point.1 -
More aura reading is bad for average players.

Unless they use the dredge perk. the point stands.
