As some of you may have seen BHVR are on the hunt for an artist who was originally going to be a finalist for the cosmetic contest, this is their original post.

Now I love this skin and I'd have loved if it was a finalist for voting however the post makes it seem it'll be added to the game automatically if the artist gets in contact which goes against the contests rules for this year's voting process.

I fear they may have shot themselves in the foot with this one as any artist who loses the vote would likely feel cheated if one submission gets in automatically.

    At this point they should just let all of the finalist win and let in some of the not accepted ones too. Many beautiful cosmetics were not chosen so this one should not get automatic pass just because its Haddie. This artist didn't answer to emails and thus failed to enter the contest. There should be no special rules for anyone.

    Its beautiful yeah, will i buy it.. no, will it make people play Haddie more…no. It's unfair and disrespectful to the other artist to let this one get a free pass just because some people make a lot of noise.

    Add it later to the game after the contest is over, but i would also say add some of the other ones then too.

    This entire thing is stupid, because it is literally based on a community vote. If you aren't happy with the results you only have yourselves to blame.

    I disagree that is what the wording means. BHVR controls which finalists are selected via their judging panel, anything they select would be something they would love to have in the game.

    See I love the cosmetic personally but I really feel that if it gets added by default if the artist is found then it's just unfair on the others in some way :( I saw sooo many gorgeous cosmetics this year and entered for the third time in a row personally, I do believe Haddie needs more skins but I'm not sure BHVR went about this the right way

    True however this year it was meant to be community choice and I am aware everyone seemingly wants this skin in game however I feel voting is still necessary

    I don't think "everyone" wants the outfit. Haddie isn't that popular and never will be no matter how many outfits she gets. Its sad but its true. I like the outfit too but it won't make me play her.

    They should just add it to the game later as buyable cosmetic and all of them Haddie fans will get a beautiful outfit. This way they dont completely disrespect the other artist that got into the finals and actually answered their emails.

    Not at all. I think it's a nice gesture, actually, and the people who are going to be happy about it are way more important than the few people who choose to get upset by them making a kind-hearted exception.
