Chapter Title: The Quarry

New Killer: The Harbinger

Backstory: The Harbinger was once a camp counselor who lost everything after a tragic accident during a summer camp retreat. Driven mad by guilt and revenge, they now haunt the woods, hunting those who dare to enter. Their obsession with punishing "the careless" manifests in a relentless pursuit of survivors.

**Power: Nightmare's Call

Ability: The Harbinger can place "Cursed Markers" on generators and pallets. When a survivor interacts with these marked objects, they become "Cursed," revealing their location and causing them to scream, losing a health state if they fail a skill check.

Special Attack: "Echoing Terror" – The Harbinger can charge a powerful attack that creates a loud scream, causing survivors within a certain radius to become exposed for a limited time.

New Survivors: The Campers

1. Abi - An artistic soul who uses her creativity to distract the killer.

Perk: Artistic Flair - When healing another survivor, both gain a speed boost for a short duration.

2. Ryan - The resourceful and brave type, adept at escaping tight situations.

Perk: Quick Thinker - After being unhooked, Ryan gains a temporary speed boost when running away from the killer.

3. Emma - The charismatic leader who draws others in.

Perk: Charming Presence - When within a certain range of other survivors, they gain increased resilience to exhaustion effects.

New Map: Hackett's Quarry

A detailed rendition of the camp, featuring cabins, a lodge, dense woods, and a lake. The map includes hidden paths, environmental traps, and interactive elements like a bonfire that can be used for temporary light or distraction.

New Hooks and Events:

Special "Campfire" hooks that show glimpses of the campers’ past.

Random events where survivors can find items (like a flashlight or map) that can help them evade the killer or reveal hidden aspects of the lore.

Gameplay Dynamics

Survivors must work together to repair generators while avoiding the Harbinger's traps and using their unique perks to outsmart the killer. The dynamic between the Harbinger's obsession with punishment and the campers' efforts to survive creates a tense, immersive atmosphere.

This chapter could emphasize themes of guilt, survival, and the consequences of choices, echoing the narrative depth found in The Quarry.
