BVHR interactive purchases red hook studio's. Does that mean that Darkest dungeon is coming to dbd?

I wish they would have spent money on updating the DbD game code instead…

Seems like a lot of money that could have been better spent overhauling and reworking the things in DbD that need to be updated.
Unless that is what they bought Red Hook for; to use as a support studio to help with DbD.

Dude… not everything is about us. A studio has other goals beside the satisfaction of the playerbase of a single game, even though that is extremely important. BHVR aims to improve DBD, sure, but they also aim to grow as a company, specially now they earned so much money with DbD. That's why they've been acquiring smaller developers and starting other projects (even though quite a few already failed, like Project T). That's part of how business works. BHVR is not that small canadian company it was in 2016 anymore.

More likely I imagine Red Hook will be working on new projects in the DBD Universe... like the Casting of Frank Stone.
