Would you be happy with different killers
almost all killers are chase oriented. But what if the devs released a killer that was Surveillance Or another trap character. If we get stuck on chase then it will get stale and lowers will be boring. And besides it would be fun for survivors to not just have to hold w and loop for a bit.
what would some ideas for those kinds be?

Absolutely.
We have way too many anti-loop killers in the game, it is already enough.

I mean my favourite killer of all time was surveillance and stealth orientated over pure chase power. RIP Old Freddy o7

Personally we'd say yes, but the last attempt at one of those was skull merchant so jury is out on public opinion.

I personally don't like trap- or informationbased killers, so I'm really fine with chase- or movementbased ones xD

reworking her power would be a lot of fun, having them show up on a tracker while in the zone would be Awsome, and having to switch cameras for each drone so it’s like singularity but only info

that’s fair but I just think it would be a change of pace cause from just chase.
0 -
Well that's true, I also don't have anything against them as a concept specifically I just don't like the current existing ones.

I don't really care for as long as it's not gonna be another SM slop…

the current non chase killers are weird, skull merchant was just poorly designed, singularity is complex, and other things for chase/other killers.

if they fixed SM that would be cool. Have it be tracking and not injure I’d say, having to flip through drones and be able to see people in the radius (not behind trees or gens) would absolutely slap but also be very same to singularity.

Well singularity I'd call a mix of information and chase maybe trap to some extend. But if you count him too then he's the only one of them I like xD

Didn't we move on from antiloop? Now it's just general multitasking killers. Last 2 killers have 3 different powers.
It's not anti loop killers being an issue. More that they add anti loop killers then kill loops in the same breath.

He will be brought back. I'm certain of it.

he’s a micro killer so he’s kinda everything. He’s something else but fun

Absolutelly not, trap killers are the most boring or underwhelming things in this game. Like trapper is honestly pathetic but skull merchant is miserable to go against, she is not OP or anything but countering her is just boring.
Singularity might be the only "trap" killer thats actually well designed, and thats cuz his traps enable him to get a chase power, in fact a good singularity is effective is chase, if you play him like you are playing fnaf, you will be wayy less deadly.
Also, stealth base killers are kind of obsolete, I mean they always were as people have eyes but now even killers without basekit stealth can use perks to have it, leaving stealth killers as very easy to counter and lacking anything unique.
Bhvr should actually try to design better chase oriented powers, because there is a difference between wesker and blight who feel good to loop against and things like knight or nurse who are just frustrating antiloop to counter.

hopefully, atleast give him something cool like gen teleports to any gen in endgame at minimum

but after a while it will get stale, how many chase powers can you make before you copy old powers.
Having traps and surveillance will give the devs more room to make interesting powers. Trapper is weak but some simple tweaks can make him a lot of fun. So having killers for every play style would be Awsome.

That's true even tho he's insanely exhausting after some time to play, the only killer that comes close to that is huntress with snipes for me.

I’d love to see more variety in killers, though a lot of people seem to hate playing against anything other than chase killers; like Hag, original Freddy, Doctor etc.
I’d really like more stealth killers as it’s the only time the game can feel really scary again for me at least.

They did that a while ago and it was not received well...

Every time they release a killer that doesn't need to focus so much on chase, people blow a gasket and scream foul until they are reworked and nerfed into the ground.
Sadako and Skull Merchant are the most infamous. Survivors just seem to want every killer to play exactly the same.

Non chase killers are inherently not as strong as Chase or toolbox killers. And the perks that best help those types have been nerfed a lot. Sloppy butcher, ruin, deadlock, dms, pain res, etc. all helped the playstyles of those killers.
