DH animation plays, got hit, no endurance

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Pressed the active ability button and dead hard animation played. Killer hit while the animation was still playing and I didn't get endurance.
PLATFORM: PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: 1. Used Dead Hard and hit during animation
