People who bring map offerings to Chaos Shuffle:
Who hurt you? If you wanted to play a randomising game mode, why are you trying to remove the randomness? If you're scared of not having control over everything in the game, maybe you shouldn't play a game mode like this.

I bring them because I can and you have no right to tell people how they should and shouldn't play?

Ahh… You can bring sacrificial ward…

On my highest prestige Killer I have 10 Sacri Wards. On my highest prestige Survivor I have 3. Compare that to the potential number of map offerings you can encounter: I've had like 5 in my past 15 games, and never to what you'd call balanced maps. Even if I played one every match, I'd run out so quickly that it wouldn't make an impact.

Well, what can I say?
You can't order around players how to play… It's obvious.
The developers also have no intentions to remove\rework the map offerings…

Do you never get even slightly upset when a Survivor forces you to go to Garden of Joy or Badham, or a P100 Nurse with an aura-reading build takes you to Midwich? While there have been some small improvements to some of the worst offenders (the Coldwind maps in particular are much more manageable now), there are still some horrendously designed maps in DBD, and it's infuriating when you can't escape people who insist on playing them again and again even in a fun, gimmicky mode like Chaos Shuffle.

Nope. until the devs let you sell offerings you Don't want I'm going to keep bringing them to get them out of my inventory

When I was playing dbd somewhere around 2019-20, I hated map offerings. The maps was MUCH more unbalanced back then with it's tiles and loops, broken windows, etc.
I remember I was creating a feedback threads about removal of map offerings. But I got humbled pretty fast. :D
Now that maps feels more fair, I don't really care about them (map offerings). Tho I was a huge hater of these offerings back then.

I'm never going to use Gideon meat plant offerings because unless you're playing killer bringing that offering is basically throwing

I feel like the point I was trying to make here, specifically about the use of map offerings in Chaos Shuffle, has been missed somewhat. It's a gimmick game mode about everything being random. Why then do some players insist on going against that theme and try to exert control over the game further? In Lights Out you couldn't bring map offerings (admittedly because there was a smaller pool), so I don't see why we have to have them in this mode at all.

"OOOH - guys!, Let's play on Midwich, let's just gen-rush the killer, while it's gonna slowly walk up and down the stairs." -
5 seconds into the match - Nurse screeches.
2 -
Ugh. Honestly I don't see the point sometimes when I get that specific killer map combo.
1 -
So it only "angers" you if these offerings being used on chaos shuffle? Like… Violation of randomness?
Then I don't know what to say or recommend. :)
1 -
If I do, it's because I randomize my entire build (the Chaos Shuffle deals with the perks, and I randomize the rest).
Should anybody think The Shape sending himself to the Eerie Of Crows is a form of tactical play, I'd love to know why (unless the complete insanity of it scares the crap out of Survivors from the off!).
Anyway, anyone can win on any map, regatdless of bias. I'm sure you'll be fine.

To be honest, my friend, if I somehow saw a fellow Freddy player sending themselves to Eyrie I would be terrified. I can only think of a single match where I had a good result on that map:
And this result was only possible because this survivor threw the game by going for Boil Over plays instead of doing gens.
2 -
Yeah... Tell that to any killer who can't deal with these pallets. Of which there are a lot...
The Game is always horrible just not in the same way. Play Doc and the survivors will reconsider their life choices, play Freddy and you'll wonder what it would be like if you had a power.

Well I also don't like it, at the same time this mode is random so your build can't be adapted for the map at least. That's why I don't have as much a problem with it in chaos-shuffle.
Well I think I only lost 4-5 times by now in this mode with chucky so I can't really be mad anyways xD

People can bring map offerings if they want to, even if I dislike them, they are part of the game.
Though I do prefer random maps for obvious reasons…

deal with it then

You stole words right out of my mouth.
Why does this community have to ruin every single event.

That won't help you for long...

Map offerings are usually an issue when they can be used to break certain builds. This matters less when the builds are random.
1 -
Yeah, Map Offerings, Items and Add Ons should be disabled in Chaos Shuffle. People just use those to sweat in it.
2 -
Listen sometimes I get map offering'd myself too many games in a row and I just want one normal match on Macmillan instead of being sent to the most survivor sided/killer sided maps possible. I just want a normal game on a mostly balanced set of maps in the game mode where perks are random and it's a lot more about your own skill, sue me.

How about when I want to play a chill Mirror Myers games with random perks that usually affect my terror radius, and therefore am essentially playing a perkless, M1 killer with no chase potential, and I bring an indoor map offering just so gens don't fly by in 2 minutes?
I play Chaos Shuffle for the fun of it, and for a match without full meta. Where I can still gain a modicum of control over the direction of the game and can let the survivors goof about with their quirky perks too. But can't really do that on a wide open map.

Eerie Of Crows can be full of surprises, but I have to agree that if you have a SWF which knows what they're doing, and the Killer doesn't have the mobility, then whoever is that Killer is going to have one hell of an uphill battles (and that's putting it mildly!).

that's fair . I see map offerings as more of a game issue then a player issue . Yes , i hate them and want them removed but that's up to the devs and people can use them since well they exist unfortunetly .

I’ve started using offerings these past few days because I’m sick of getting Coldwind and Ormond maps. I don’t know why the game has decided to start favouring then this week but I’m hardly getting anything else without the offerings.
