Are there any plan about hacker?
Title
I keep and keep and keep play against slightly speed hacker.
Like 1-2 in 3 games.
Nearly all of their steam have ban history.
If I keep go against these I might quit.

There's a load of cheaters (mainly due to the free DBD on Epic blunder), but the good news is in the latest poll, one of the options is if you feel anti-cheat is more important than other things to focus on in the game. Hopefully we get a lot of people voting for better anti-cheat.

strange. I see hackers every 4-5 months it’s not very common and I’ve been playing since 2018.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing one in forever. OP looks like the typical salty post somebody writes after losing to somebody simply better than them; low-effort with nothing of real substance to reply to.

I know I've been against one definite hacker in the last month, and they weren't even subtle with their speed hack.

Last night I had a hacker and a lag switcher.
Great stuff.

I voted anti-cheat as my main choice of focus for BHVR. There were other options I also liked, but defense is the best way to start, so a more robust anti-cheat system to make games more enjoyable to start with would set a nice base to work from.
There'll always be catch-up against hackers, but swifter responses, and more proactive anti-cheat system, makes it much harder for them.

Yup! I probably have to report at minimum 2 people a day (with video evidence) - it's pretty ridiculous how many people you see sliding across the ground prone while traveling 10x faster than the killer. That, or people literally phasing through pallets.

And that's not even including subtle cheaters, who many have a permanent 3% buff to their speed or something similar. It's sometimes hard to tell.

Question for everyone who feels that they are going against a subtle cheater:
Does it also feel like they give themselves Boil Over when wiggling?

I've seen up to 3 obvious cheater per game night, several days a week.
There are more of them at higher MMR. (e.g. I see them a lot as Nurse but almost never as Trapper.)

Boil over?
No: they teleport out of your grasp, making you bug and unable to do anything until they leave the match through the doors.
I will never forget my last Blight match. Two teleporting cheaters (two friends) reported in game and with videos, never banned. (I kept checking their profiles.)
That was also my last cheater report. I won't waste my time anymore.
Now if I get a cheater I close the game immediately and go play another game.

This is one of the reasons I was opposed to cross play being forced on us. You never hear about console cheaters/hackers.

Sometimes i also think like hu? this wiggling is way harder then normal but maybe its my mind tricking me… so i dont mind that to much… the thing i sometimes have is that for some reason i just can't seem to come closer to survivors. That when running in a straight line i can't hit them as killer but when i do the exact same thing playing survivor they catch me within a few seconds… but again could be the mind playing tricks on me.

There’s a chance it might be lag. I think the game compensates for it and it manifests as short bursts of speed etc.
If I play on a different country server I notice that I seem to get away with a little more than usual. I notice my wiggling seems more powerful but I think it’s just the lag compensation.

The thing is then i have fairly allot of games with lag… i have like between 10 - 20 ms as i live fairly close to europe servers. Sometimes i have a feeling im getting in lobby's where 2 - 3 people can outrun me constantly i can't explain it. I have about 2,8k hours into the game 2,3k atleast on killer. I am not saying i am the best but i know what to do but i have a feeling that most most games have subtle speed cheaters or so it feels.
If it really is lag compensation (i know activision does this with CoD also) then it just sucks. But it would be nice to know if it is actually a thing so i know i am not turning insane. 😂2 -
I get you, I went through the same stuff. It was the really strong wiggling that gave it away for me. It seems like they get short little speed bursts too huh? If yeah then I do think it’s the lag.

Aah well we can just hope for the best and if something like this exist that behaviour will come out with it eventually… but knowing them they probably say "we did a pretty good job so far" and end stream. 😅

Yep, the easiest way with subtle speed hackers is to chase them to shack. if they are "rounding" shack corners before the killer is within LoS then it is obvious that they are speed hacking. Even if they have a chase perk to help "hide it" it's still incredibly obvious.

Oh no, when you spend that much time playing killer, especially the same one, you start to feel about when, where and how you should catch up to a survivor. If you make it through to BL3 and still aren't catching a survivor, then there is a high likelyhood that they are cheating.

Has anyone noticed that some killers start walking / moving before the pickup / hooking animation has ended. Lag, cheats or crapy net code?
Same for survivor and unhooks that are way to fast.
