Languid Touch
Looking for feedback on this perk. I don't own Vecna and don't particularly want to buy him for one perk unless I know I'm gonna use it. Just reading over it, does it mean if I'm engaging in chase but another survivor scares a crow across the map then they will suffer from Exhausted and not the survivor I'm engaged with? The 20s cooldown isn't bad, but I guess this perk works best when I'm down to only one or two survivors? Thanks

It's a pretty decent perk, but I wouldn't buy Vecna just for that.
If it makes it into the upcoming patch, Genetic Limits (Singularity's perk) will now Exhaust any Survivor who loses a heath state from any means, with no cooldown. I'd wait and see if it becomes a better alternative.

Remember languid activates before the meta exhaustion perks activate, such as lithe & sprint burst, which it counters very well.
Genetic limits fails at countering the others, which will be the only exhaustion perks you will face

It's only good for spirit to counter iron will, but, they are buffing genetic limits which make survivors exausted when you hit them.

The first Survivor to scare a crow within 36 meters of your location activates the perk and then goes on cool-down for 20 sec. So if you’re chasing a Survivor but another Survivor within 36 meters of you scares a crow, then the Survivor who first scared the crow inside the 36 meter radius will get the penalty effect of the perk.
And Killer gameplay???…. 😲

As others have mentioned, you're probably better off waiting to see if Genetic Limits makes it out of the PTB unscathed. But if you're going to buy him for Languid Touch, don't forget that he also comes with Weave Attunement, possibly the best aura reading perk in the game right now, and which is definitely making it at least another update without being touched.

Thanks everyone! I have Singularity so I'll just wait and try out the updated Genetic Limits first.
Thanks though I tend to avoid aura perks, Friends til the End is probably my only exception lol

It's got a 36m range, so survivors scaring Crows across the map won't be affected by it, and won't trigger the cooldown.

Oh I know, it was an exaggeration. I was just asking if a survivor I'm not interacting with in any way could essentially take the activation away from the survivor that I was interacting with. They don't have to literally be on the other side of the map

If they're close enough to you, then yes they could.

Oh, my bad! Yeah another nearby survivor can 100% put it on cooldown.
Although that does make it function like a discount Spies as well as inflicting exhaustion, so it's not all bad.

depends on the killer. genetic limits might not give value if they are better off staying injured or you can one shot them.
i generally don't feel like i need to run anti exhaustion perks/add ons (except spirit), but i think it's your best shot if you need one. also survivors won't trigger it outside of a radius around you and people either won't stay around you or sit on gens so other people eating the perk shouldn't be much of a concern.

Thanks ☺️ I imagine I'd still get decent value but it looks like the Genetic Limits change is going ahead so I'll try that one first!

I run it with Spies because I love birds but you don't really need Spies for it.
I'd probably wait to see for the new Genetic but Vecna is kinda fun so eh. I still have Dead Hard ptsd so anything that can give me 100% certainty is very much appreciated. When Vecna came out it took me 40 games to get my first loss and half of those matches were just goofing around with birds. I keep forgetting that Lithe is super popular for some reason so I appreciate accidentally countering that

It is not that great . Use fearmonger or the newlly buffed dredge perk if you want to counter exaustion . Perhaps blood echo if you're playing legion/plague.

It's good with Spies from the shadows, but it's not that good for most killers.
I use it only on Spirit.
It won't save you from SB, but works well on DH and Iron Will. I still had survivors to use DH on me anyway.2 -
Playing Chucky. I have 2-3 perks I generally stick with then the 4th I just try new things until something feels good, but I enjoy changing things up in general. Mindbreaker/Fearmonger is great, but i was thinking more for something to benefit during chase as opposed to at the start
