how is this still acceptable by the Devs

Yeah, survivors have a bunch of tools that can make picking them up frustrating. Pallets, flashlights/bangs, sabo. I've always felt that killers should have some sort of system that limits the worst of aspects of the game. Things like stun reductions and flashlight immunity. But I have no idea how it would be implemented. I'm not getting paid, so I'm not going to try and solve that rubix cube.
If I couldn't push the survivors out at the end, it would annoy me. But I have some agency left. I can push them out or go break things. Survivors stealthing till the last second is much more obnoxious. That feels more akin to a four minute bleedout to me.
I can take trolling or toxicity, but I hate people wasting my time.

Killers can see before the match starts if the team has 4 flashlights and can equip lightborn a basically free perk to get.
1 -
Yeah, if Lightborn didn't exist that stuff would be an existential crisis for the game. Although Boil Over + Sabo, Power Struggle + Flip Flop + Unbreakable are still pretty cheesy. Lightborn won't save you from that.
1 -
yeah, i agree.. i think we are on the same page.
1 -
Some teams switch at last second.
1 -
I can't stop laughing at this, this guy is serious
2 -
Unfortunately not bannable or reportable. In all likelihood, it's a garbage player who just got rolled by a decent team the previous match. They're wildly insecure, so they have to go on a power trip the next game. The devs don't seem to see a problem with this.
Put it this way: I've never seen a good player act that way.
5 -
Makes me wonder what the survivor did that match, if that survor was goading the killer throughout, looping, dropping pallets and t baging the killer at every opportunity then is there any wonder that the killer does the same? So many drop a pallet and t bag immediately after, and t bag at the gates, t bag at the hatch even. Every opportunity it's a t bag. At some point the killer will do it back.
2 -
Lol. Reported for not struggling? Some people on this forum are truly delusional.
0 -
Lol be honest. 99% of the time when this happens to me, it's because I had the audacity to take the killer on a long chase and run tiles correctly. And I'm not one to tbag or emote.
5 -
That maybe true but if the killer repeatedly gets t bagged by too many survivors then all survivors get tarred with the same brush, and the killer lashes out and does it back to every survivor. When I first started playing I was awful at the game and couldn't get any kills, every match I was getting t bagged and abused post match with "get good" and "noob killer".... Eventually I got better and I learnt to expect that if I lost I would most likely have been t bagged. I don't do what that killer does but I can see why he might be lashing out.
1 -
this is the first part of the recording, and please show me how I BM the killer, I don't care about his previous matches I didn't BM im a different person then the survivors that act toxic but he decided to do this to me, this is not the full match because I didn't expect this happened to me so I don't record every game, I wanted to go next becese someone rage quit withen the 1st min of the game but my teamemate saved me so I played normaly after, I even finish a gen and picked my down teammate multiple times and try to progress the game normally.
4 -
I see no real reason for it, it's interesting that the killer didn't do that to the other player. Could be the killer remembered you from another match? As others have said, could be that the killer was on a losing streak constantly being t bagged, so lashed out. But it doesn't explain why he singled you out over the other player.
1 -
Maybe they are just leon haters.

I think it's fair for a killer to BM back. But does it require full bleed outs? Tea Bags = Full Bleed Out seems kind of overkill.
A personal experience of mine: I once played against a Whiskers player. They were not very good, and had a lot of trouble landing his M2. I eventually went down, and he hooked me in the basement. He then proceeded to M1 me on hook long after the gates were powered, as my solo queue teammates stood in the gates and waited till the last minute to escape.
I didn't do anything to him other than dodge his M2 attempts. But their failure frustrated them enough that they felt the need to BM me for over two minutes straight. In hindsight I should have attempted to unhook myself, but I decided to return the disrespect and just waved my arms until I died.
In short, sometimes there's two sides to it. But sometimes it's just one side being a grocery bad full of douches.

Hooking people on butcher hooks: all fine.
"BM" : not fine?
How often does it happen to you that you feel the need to post about it?
I can count on one hand the killer "BMs" I notice during a year.
2 -
Well yeah, hooking people on butcher hooks is the point of the game. Bleeding people out for 4 minutes is just being an ass.
5 -
I actually have seen it, quite a number of comp players do it to their friends, at least the humping not thr 4 min bleedout, as a way to BM or have some banter when they beat them or down them. While some organizations have also banned that type of bm it is common as it practicaly the same as teabagging. And the average comp player while not being the best player ever is light years above 95% of pub warriors.

for my matches I get nod at and hit on the hook by killers most of the time but I don't post about it, because I don't feel the need to but doing this for 4 minutes I think it's not acceptable and shouldn't be accepted by anyone, so you saying if it's doesn't happen most of the time it should be a fine behaviour ?
1 -
I think we all went through that. I definitely remember the rough killer matches when I started. But I think the survivors who t bag and BM are often the same killers who do stuff like this. Very few players exclusively play only one role.
4 -
It's never four minutes straight.
Unless the survivors get downed once, all together.
What are the odds of something like that happening?
It has been suggested to give an accelerated bleed-out for these. Maybe it's a solution.
1 -
Most of the time?
It may have happened once to me in four years.
Killers DC-ing yes. Killers stupidly wasting their time hitting the hook, no.
I would love them to do that though. It means the others have free reign on the gens.

Good for you 🤷♂️ I still don't get your point it doesn't happen for you a lot so BM is OK ?
3 -
It's like tbags... No one like them but It doesn't matter since those are allowed and things won't change... You can't do much about It... Just ignore It and do something else while bleeding to death (alt-tab and do something else)
1 -
No, I'm just wondering how is it possible that it happens to you so much.
And no, I don't care about "BM" generally. Except for the legendary 4-slug, it usually plays to my advantage.
0 -
"But it is, without question, the single most pathetic and cringeworthy iteration of in-game BM there is, and anyone who does it like this should take a long look at themselves."
I couldn't agree more. If I see someone doing this, I lose all respect for that person. It's disgusting behavior, and they need to do something about it. It's pretty clear what these people are insinuating when they do this to a survivor.
I don't know what they could do, but I'm not a developer, so it's not my job.
1 -
Fair enough. For the record survivors that hang about in the door to teabag when everyone is safe annoy me just as much, and I'm a survivor main.
If both sides could just learn to be nice to each other this game would be so much more wholesome and (probably) fun. Instead it has this tense atmosphere where both sides always hate each other and will BM/assume the worst of them no matter what.
0 -
Except when you teabag, you still have to run for your life or die, cant do it for 4 minutes straight. You dont have that option as a slug.
1 -
I agree, i play both sides.
1 -
The biggest problem with this kind of BM is how long it goes on with the survivor not being able to do anything to speed it up. If it was like 10 seconds of humping and then the killer picks you up and hooks you, slaps you on hook, sure whatever. Cringe and BM, but at least it's over quickly and it's not a huge deal.
But being forced to just sit AFK for 4 minutes, then they pick you up, then they walk for 15 seconds purposefully, then they hook you and force you through the sacrifice animation, it's all just such a drag and a timewaste you know?
I do think a system that let survivors bleed themselves out quicker after being on the ground for a long time would be nice. Anything at all to speed this huge waste of time up, really.

Doesn't change anything. They’re both toxic. If one isn’t a bannable offense, then the other shouldn’t be. As I said before, the only thing that needs changing is a reduction of the bleed out timer.
4 -
BMing in terms of emoting like this or tbagging is something vastly present in video games and is usually only bannable in some pro tournaments because "taunting enemy in order to tilt them is not allowed".
People should just get over both humping downed survs and tbagging
3 -
I don't understand why people feel the need to defend this sort of behavior.
I get the arguments from the angle of 'they're trying to make you mad, just don't take it personally', but it's not just BM. It's a player wasting another player's time while the downed player can't do anything about it. That is not healthy for the game. Barring that it typically doesn't make the recipient want to continue playing DBD… we don't all have all day to play games. 4 minutes is half a survivor match, easy. People should not be barred from going next when they have definitively lost. Humping while bleeding out is not comparable to tbagging because tbagging doesn't take up four minutes of your time.
6 -
I wanted to get over it and go next match but I was on the ground for 4 minutes stuck with the killer while the game is already over I guess you Implying, it's my fault so sure.

Kind of the same energy here as saying "Some of you have never been through the 1950s and 1960s when making racist jokes was just jokes and it shows".
Just because people behaved worse in the past isn't a justification for continuing with the same abhorrent behaviour.

You and SOME Others bring up IRL issues, are the same as those that blame ViDEO Games for bad things in this world. When Video Games is supposed to be a place to relieve the IRL tensions of the world. Just like those agreeing bunch to a post about not wanting to see Mori's in game because they feel watching violence and "gore" in game is "appalling".
It's a video game. (Especially THIS Game which caters to such Killer vs Survivor violence)
It's not IRL issues said or DID in the past, it's not physical, you can easily walk away from it. More easily than you can walk away from things IRL. YOUR absurdity over a game is your issues. Deal with it like an adult. If you dislike something from viewing. Bow out. It's way more simplified than bringing it up on a forum, noone here is going to do anything to fix Your issues. Because it is a Video Game.
1 -
i didn't say it's your fault killer is humping you, you just shouldn't pay much attention because people who do that are doing it for reaction
1 -
Or the alternative is to realize victims of sexual assaults could be affected by this and have enough empathy to realize that the only thing that you miss out on by not teabagging and humping is that you aren't acting like an arse to other people. But if showing empathy is beyond you then you do you.

This Is just a Gaming Forum. It is not a place for a Therapy Session. That's for professional therapist to discuss your issues with. None of these posts which have issues in their real lives can help them over come them. The ONLY solution is to remove themselves from the situation they have placed themselves in. Their issue about a game will not change other's mindset, what is trauma inducing to others, may be childish fun to others. Sympathy will not help here. It will never change other's on-doings, the only course of action with an issue, is remove themselves from it (for example: considering the dcing topic over a mere character such as SM, take the penalty and DC as they believe it's no big deal) ... they didn't have to stay that entire 4minutes with that nurse. Take the DC.

Such a great solution I need to just Dc I never thought about that, I guess I can't have an opinion on my bad experiences in a video game it's a big deal to have an opinion. 🤷♂️
0 -
Alright, you have your opinion, just like everyone else here has. What's next?
After your opinion is out there. Are you satisfied? Did it solve anything for you? Was the situation rectified for you? How satisfied were you after giving your opinion about your issue? On a scale from 1 - 10, 1 being very dissatisfied and 10 being very satisfied.

Bro has nearly a 1000 comment on a video game forum and telling me not to take it seriously😅

Just because I been in these forums longer than you. 🤷♂️
Games (and their Forums) Aren't meant to be taken seriously ...
What are you getting at with this comment?

I guess you taking the "video game" seriously if you commenting this much 🤷♂️

Just had an experience I wanted to recount, since it seems relevant. VSed a Doctor. Two of the teammates were probably a SWF and kept going for flashlight saves, so gens weren't getting done and this eventually collapsed into a snowball down.
The Doctor killed the probable SWF and left me and the other guy to bleed out, putting us into the basement while doing the usual gloating and moving the Tapp back down there when he tried to crawl out. The Tapp eventually wiggled off this way, but I was close to bleeding out, so the Doctor picked me up. I tab out when a killer is bleeding me out, but was forced to return to the game after a few minutes of this because the Doctor essentially had my bar frozen and would not hook me or set me down, and the Tapp would be stuck in the game indefinitely if I let him. He then chased me and kept putting me in Madness 3 so I couldn't do anything, and at one point tried to pretend he didn't hear me in a locker to try and pretend to leave to jumpscare me, but still refused to put me out of my misery. The Tapp started completing gens, so he stopped annoying me to go chase Tapp again, hooked him, and tried to get me to unhook him. At this point I just walked into a corner and went AFK, and he eventually moried me.
More irritating than that player's power trip was the fact that wasting my and another player's time for 10 minutes beyond the point of total loss was perfectly acceptable gameplay, and that I couldn't actually report him for anything despite obvious intentional abuse.
