The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Bring back the "Last one standing" mechanic but only for survivors to fight off slugging for a 4k.

Remember the "Last one standing"? Yes, bring it back but ONLY for survivors in order to fight slugging for a 4k after the mori update.

Buff it with wider field of view, make the last one standing survivor be immune to aura reading, buff their healing speed by 50%.

Completely discourage killers to slug for a 4k, leaving 1 player on a floor for God knows how long.

Make it so "Last one standing" - turns off once killer killed the third survivor instead of slugging.

No even need PTB to test it. It will work perfectly to discourage killer players from slugging third survivor alive.

Agreed, BRING IT BACK, there are these Hopeless Situations where 3 people are slugged and its like really unfair for the last guy to try to fix things. The Last One Standing buff of increased FOV or maybe a speed increase would be a good change to prevent games ending too fast.

A Hopeless Situation should also be a score event for the Killer, because they managed to push the team to the Brink of Doom.
and the Survivor who got the (The Last One Standing) should also be rewarded heavily if they succeed post-match they have managed to change the Brink of Doom back to a normal game state.

Problem is not slugging for 4k, hatch is a problem. Untill mechanic give last survivor undeserved free win killer will slugging to not let them win. Remove hatch and slugging is being remove by itself.

This seems like a misunderstanding of win conditions, each kill is a win for the killer so you already won when you kill two survivor.
You are not supposed to get 4wins each game when the game is designed for 65% kill rates.

The Hatch is not undeserved, its a mechanic to close the game after the Killer won, because the alternative is a horrible experience.

The Hatch wont be removed, no chance of that.

    While the "Last Standing" mechanic has it's merits, I think that there should be a more "general" deterrent for excessive slugging and boring/unfun situations. Basekit Unbreakable isn't the answer (we all remember the dreadful PTB that tried it and the deserved almost-unanimously negative response from the community) the Killer would simply alternate between the two last Survivors, I honestly believe that this is one of the many reasons there should be an "insta-bleedout" optional button under certain conditions;

    If only 2 Survivors remain.

If all remaining Survivors are incapable of playing (either downed or hooked/caged).

If slugged for 2m+ (how often does anyone gets slugged for 2+ minutes unless the Killer is either slugging for the 4k, trolling, or purposefully going for a slugfest after tunnelling the first Survivor?).

Especially since the devs apparently want to encourage slugging for the 4k with their insistance on pushing the Finisher Mori system, there should be a way to go next without having to twiddle your thumbs almost every games. It's already a bit worse than before since they added the Finisher Mori and when new Mori animations shows up (it's very possible that the Finisher Mori was pushed in order to eventually sell Mori animations) it'll get even worse since people will want to justify their purchase.

I wanted a finisher mori to be implemented too. But I didn't expect it's going to highly encourage slugging for 4k.

In order to discourage the slugging - just make it to be an unpleasant experience for killers, they will learn that slugging is MUCH worse so they'd rather hooking the third survivor, than leave it on the ground and looking for 4-th.

Doesn't mean that my post is perfect tho - you guys are here to tweak it as you like or think it would be better, every suggestion matters.
