i don't want to, they give more depth to the game and increase skill expression of the survivor role, same as killer techs increase skill expression of specific killers.
Only people that are actually complaining about techs from either side are people who need more excuses for losing a match

i can understand crouch tech but how is shift tech a bug? your just walking

people consider it an "exploit" because you are abusing the way game interprets chases. Neither it nor crouch tech are bugs, as crouch tech is also just a result of killers like Demo, Billy and Blight having fixed attack height and survivor hitbox while crouching gets slightly lower than that height.
Mad respect for people actually knowing how to utilize both to their max.

ah ok glad we on the same page. Yeah it definitely taking advantage how the game track chase for sure. I just see it as cool trick like play with your food moon walking.

every tech messes with the game in some way, but they all have their proper counterplay, while being some form of skill expression, that's what i like about them. Without them, game feels just way too linear to play.
