just yesterday I got a fun pig game on ormond where all the survivors were being super altruistic (I had all 4 traps down within 3 minutes of the match starting), they ended up deadzoning shack side completely and removing half of the pallets on the other side. By the endgame I has 2 dead 2 dead hook, downed the meg and the Jane was waiting at the exit, not trying to help meg she just wanted me to watch her leave, so I hooked meg and got blood warden 4K :3
This was also the same day I got my first gen grab as pig, then another one the very next match, both ended as 4Ks and in the second match I even had somebody give up XD

Gen grabs are fun. I don't get them as much anymore, but when I do it always feels like a proper jump scare to the surv.

I just had the most heart-stopping game against Pig. Wow. It took my breath away.
So… I’m guessing that it’s part of her sick game when I have to decide between saving my last team mate or continue searching boxes. I’m also guessing that booping the snoot is out of the question especially after a locker stun to a pallet drop t bag. As I’m sacrificed growls and growls and growls… 😂😨😂👏👏👏11/10
PS: Last month I didn’t know you couldn’t escape with the reverse bear traps… I thought she was being nice.. I thought I was crawling to freedom.. and then I realized- It’s just more sick games 😂 That one actually took my breath away irl lol

Musk banned me because he's a coward, so I can't see it unfortunately.
If it wasn't active then she can run out with it on. So that means she would have put it on after the final generator had been finished.
Pig hasn't had the auto-activated traps in end-game since like early 2019.

So then placing a trap on a Survivor after the final generator is completed is completely pointless? Is there any benefit for The Pig to do it?

Pretty much. You don't really benefit from saving your traps and it's usually the better play is to use them early for slowdown pressure. If you're really wanting to do anyhting end game, then you'll have to use them in the mid-game or around 2/3 gens remaining.
If you have the time, or anyone interested, I was going to post this video here cause it's really good for all our fledgling Pigs to understand the history of our lady, Amanda. She's also the blueprint for many killers that came after her.
If you find you are asking yourself questions like, why does it work like that? Is she missing something that should be there?? That's because she's never fully recovered from the biggest nerf she ever got when they severely crippled her end-game ability with 0 buffs or compensation to match. It's worth the few minutes.

One trick that can still do with head traps in end game with Pig, you can scooch a survivor out from under a pallet using her head traps... but yeah, beyond that point it's just for giving out party hats. 🥳

Other than points, no. Although, some players for whatever reason don't know how the traps work so in rare occasions, you can get survivors that will try to get their trap off rather than just leaving because they don't know they can. But that's rare, especially the higher your MMR gets.

Not exactly what I expected. I need to see it in-game though. Not looking forward to the cloak being potentially too ripped / short.
Edit: Also not a fan of how this is the second time they re-used the saw-blade weapon, now theres three of them. (Original, Anniversary gold and Blighted.)

Yea, I mean sure it's "blighted" probably so its' different, but could do with a new design. But, as long as its properly glowing and dripping with Blight Serum, I'm good.

hello everyone, I know I haven’t posted here much but I wanted to confide in you guys because I just need a place to rant about myself right now, I suspect the mods don’t want heavy topics like this up and I’m sorry but please don’t ban me, I just need to vent or I feel like I’m going to breakdown mentally. Considering I’ve attempted studied before I don’t think having a mental breakdown is good for me xd
I have MDD (major depressive disorder) and I take medication for it, one if your standard anti depressant (I call them my happy drugs lol) and the other is a sleep aid and antidepressant (mainly to combat my anxiety induced insomnia) I also have a problem I think is caused by past trauma (I was heavily abused mentally and verbally as a child for 8 years) and probably too much empathy, where reading/listening to really depressing stories makes me incredibly stressed and depressed. I also probably have some sort of body image issues because I’ve been told for a long time that I’m an attractive person, but I’ve never seen it and always considered myself below average or average at best, despite others claims. I’m not trying to sound like I’m bragging I’m sorry if I am I’m not good with socializing.
Why am I mentioning any of this? Because recently I’ve been on the downswing and it’s been bad, after forgetting to take my meds for a few days (I have really bad memory issues, probably caused by anxiety overloading my mind) and that has resulted in me listening to a lot of sad depressing stories about people’s lives, mainly cheating and relationship drama stuff, considering my past relationships have been very problematic and ended with me sinking a ton of time in for nothing but rejection for problems I didn’t know existed and people wanting an open relationship and even asking if they could hookup with somebody (I’m very sensitive to stuff like that and it makes me feel inadequate as a partner) so I’ve become very depressed after this, I’ve stopped listening to these stories don’t worry (I may be stupid but I knew they weren’t healthy) and am getting back on my meds but my hormones are way out of wack and I don’t think I can handle being online like this for a few days.
In case you’re wondering no, I don’t self harm and have no plan to commit anything, I have talked to professionals, and I have meds. I just needed to rant.

I just wanted to say I'm glad you feel comfortable and strong enough to express yourself and open yourself up like you have. I acknowledge what you’re going through. You are not alone in this journey, and there are people who care deeply about you and want to help. It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed at times, especially when life presents us with it's day-to-day challenges in work, relationships, just life in general.
I think it's important to remember that experiencing these emotions does not define your worth or potential. It’s okay to seek support when you’re feeling down; reaching out for help is a sign of strength. Take things one step at a time, and be gentle with yourself. Celebrate the small victories and remind yourself that it’s perfectly okay to ask for a break. Your feelings are valid, and I believe in your ability to navigate through this period and come out even stronger.
If you ever need someone to talk to or resources to explore, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Sorry you're having a rough time of things. Obviously since this is the first time we've met/spoken I couldn't even begin to say understand what you're going through...
What I will say is never feel ashamed of having a hard time or being depressed. You don't have to apologise for needing to vent, needing support or needing someone to listen.
Depression is an evil entity that preys on you when you're at your most vulnerable, and there are reasons that only you will truly understand for why its there, and it is not your fault you have it. For me, my depression was an autopilot voice playing in my head that I wasn't really listening to, but was constantly telling me how worthless and pathetic I was. The longer that voice spoke, the worse I felt, before I suddenly woke up and realised how empty and alone I felt.
You'll already have been taught about CBT and all that stuff, and one thing I will say is... I hate CBT, in the fact it sounds so trite and BS... but annoyingly it does actually work.
The goal of CBT is to train your mind to change what that voice in your head says. Your low self esteem and body image is an example of where you need to change what your internal voice says about you. It doesn't work overnight. It takes years, and even then you'll relapse from time to time and have to practise controlling that negative voice in your mind again... but the fact your already seeking help and support is a great first step.

Following what I originally said.. I've decided I'm not going to be purchasing the new skin - which is probably around £10 - if they still have not fixed the visual bug I reported where Pig's hand / weapon is broken when you strafe.
It would be close to the tenth time they've had an opportunity to fix it while Pig has been in somewhat of a spotlight, and failed to do so. If they prove they dont care about aesthetics or quality control again, I guess I don't either, and they wont be getting my money.

Congrats!!! I also just beat ds3! I can give you a ton of tipps for the boss. If you want to. Beat it like 8 times by now. Each time with a different strategy.
There are strategies for each type of playstyle. Just let me know how you play.

I just hope they don't change Pig's mori to be third person permenantly. I would rather it stay first person for killer.

I don't mind them making it third person, as long as they gave it a proper pass, added some flavour of Amanda's character (even something as small as adding a head tilt before the slash) and made it actually look good, like her grabbing the survivors hair to lead to the throat slash after she stabs their hand, maybe the Survivor flounders around as they die from the slit throat.
