Poised Tweak?

Currently, Poised only reveals auras on the very first time you touch a unique gen, and then never again for that specific generator. This is likely done to prevent gen tapping to get permanent wallhacks on the killer, which is fine, but it creates a little bit of an annoying scenario.

Say I start working on Generator A, the aura effect activates. I then get chased off, and go work on Generator B. I then come back to Generator A a couple minutes later, I start working on it, and no aura.

Instead of only being once-per-gen per trial, perhaps it could refresh the effect when you start working on a different Generator. That way, if you leave a generator for a while and come back, you can still get Poised, but you can't gen tap for unlimited Aura reading.

I not sure it really needs it tbh…

I've found Poised is pretty solid for value in it's current state. It massively aids your start up information to start battling 3 gens while the killer is at their weakest, not far removed from a Survivor version of Lethal Pursuer.

If combined with Eyes of Belmont I've been able to get auras on the killer both when Gens are started, and when Gens complete, and it's been able to completely ditch the killer a few times with this combo while in chase. EoB gives you a free win on a mind game, that if the killer guesses wrong and loses sight of you, you can completely vanish due to no scratch marks from Poised… it's pretty decent…

The Perk is fine as it is. It is basically a lethal pursuer for survivors and provides already good value, especially in SWF.

8 generators equals 8 aura reads. That's plenty. It's fine as it is now.

So better fogwise is the idea? Nah.

No? Fogwise can activate multiple times over the course of a repair. Poised you'd have to go and touch a different generator.

Even with this buff idea Fogwise would still be better imo.

currently, i think the survivor perk are gaining too much value compare killer perks. Like why is Poised just a better version of killer perk lethal pursuer? imagine if lethal pursuer would show you aura at the start of trial and than every time a gen get completed, it shows aura of all survivors for like 3 seconds.

I don't get it. the dev are just weird. it is like they're designing killer-tier strong perks as survivor perks. granted the survivor aren't using the perks but still.

I feel like the aura effect is fine as is and the original effect when generators are completed wasn't buffed enough. It should be 20 seconds and hide blood pools as well.

I don't think that's needed, Poised is already pretty decent thanks to how it works now, the only two things I would do is to remove Blood Pools and Grunts of Pain when it activates along the hidden Scratch Marks, and also maybe add a little indicator for generators that you haven't touched, because I quite frequently forget which ones I already triggered that aura on haha.

I see the idea. The perk kind of promotes that way of playing. As it is right now I kind of like that it activates just one time on each generator. I’ve been so enamored with the buff that I honestly haven’t even thought about buffing it more. My only fear is that it would be too OP if it was more than once a gen.

At the very most.. I would add a 60 second cooldown on each gen for the Aura read.

I think they missed with this buff, this perk for me should ALSO hides grunts of pain and pools of blood, only hiding scratch marks isn't good
