Why am I facing so many Nurses and Blights lately?
Anyone else getting this? Is it something about the event?
I can put up with them here and there but it's annoying me with this frequency.
I really hate Blight especially in solo que. At least I can sometimes juke a Nurse. Both killers are really bad design in as much as playing the game with a SWF is for an M1 killer. A good SWF I mean.

Gens go fast. Survivors are bringing strong stuff. Strong medkits, toolboxes, and perks. Gen stall perks have been consistently nerfed across the board to the point where it only really hurts killers that are…not strong already. So people are just playing strong killers. Nurse, Blight, Billy, Chucky etc. It's more fun and less stressful.

I wouldn't say the frequency of killers I face has changed. But I have noticed both sides playing a lot sweatier, which I suspect is the reason you're seeing stronger character picks from your opponents.

I'm genuinely getting sweaty nurses every other round they never miss a blink and have all 4 down before the 1st or 2nd gen pop usually

These killers have a low skill ceiling so ppl pick them for a free 4k almost everytime, then there's killer players like me who actually play for fun and do fine getting 2-3k with my unknown, dracula and myers. Not every round has to be a 4k and devs need to stop pushing this idea.

I was going to say inb4 the thread gets hijacked with the good ole killer is too weak, gens too fast, survivors too strong rhetoric but it's already the first few comments
I see them as frequent as usual, maybe about 5 per dbd session but nothing out of the ordinary

yeah and most people dont enjoy that because these games are too stressful because you are in a losing position and have to put progressively more effort for progressively less reward just to keep the game going.
people dont like lacking agency or skill expression on the power role.

Thats a joke right? Low skill ceiling? There's a pretty high skill ceiling with both of these killers.

honestly, i don't really see that many Nurses and Blights at all. Actually, in my last 20 matches over few days, i had only 1 Blight and no Nurses at all

You can literally argue every killer isn't skillful if you cope hard enough. Like for example Myers, Dracula and Unknown. It's simply a fact that Billy, Nurse and Blight have a higher skill floor sure. But they do still have high ceilings.
Thetes a distinct difference between a Nurse who fails every mindgame and one who knows how to counter them. A difference between a good Blight and one who's mastered bump logic. A good Billy and one who's mastered curving.

that would be true but the killrates say otherwise . Your average nurse or blight or not getting a 4k every match . That is a fact backed by data.
