I hope it's not just slight number tweaks on Freddy. But January almost looks like a Nightmare on Elm Street update in general, planned changes for Freddy, 2 of his Perks and 2 of Quentin's Perks

So November is the Mid chapter update then January is the start of what. I hope it’s a whole new Freddy.

Freddy is a Killer Update, not Killer Tweaks. So I would expect more than just a few number changes.

I hope Myers gets the instant kill addons deleted from the game. They are the most unfair addons in the entire game, and it’s not fair that Pig and Sadako got so many changes and nerfs to their alternate kills, but Myers can still alternate kill way way easier than Pig or Sadako can.

But "updated news system" (what I'm about to say is if updated news system means when you can check news in-game), I mean cmon, who cares? Put that time you spent working on that on something else, like that's worrying that they had that instead of something else written there..

Nah. He is currently overtuned, they buffed him a bit too much. You can expect some minor Nerfs.
(But I also have to agree with OP - as long as Nurse exist, evey Killer-Nerf is a joke)

Oh my gosh I can't believe it. My boy Mikey is finally getting his update. I have been playing him for seven years. This is the first time he's gotten a proper update to his power.
Please Bhvr do right by him. I am all for tombstone getting nuked if it means his base kit gets some buffs.

Yea the "updated news system" sounds boring, I'd preferred a change to the outdated daily rituals / shrine of secrets / bloodweb improvements / grinding shards system.

I'm not saying he doesn't need any changes, but I'm just worried he will be overly nerfed just to please some people. Hopefully they nerf him logically.

I'm so with you! Im actually looking forward to the next ptbs like very few before.
Both Myers and Freddy needed changes for so long. If there is any chance to get a reworked early game for Myers and maybe a step back towards OG Freddy, then these will be the most exciting updates since 6.1.0. At least for me personally.

The logical change would be to tune down the bat transition if you ask me. That's it. Everything else is fine in my book.
If they go overboard, then we can still try to change something with the Ptb feedback.

Ha, I'm really excited right now. Honestly I was beginning to think we would get GTA 6 before the Freddy rework, but thankfully we got an ETA, and it is January. January! That isn't far.
Please, BHVR, you know what to do with him. Give me my killer back.

Kinda wish they said what the +4 were on killers and the +5 on perks. Other than that bit worried about the Dracula update since he is one of the few killers I'm enjoying right now.

I'm surprised Demogorgon is getting changes, I thought most people considered him to be perfectly balanced as is. Not sure if he is gonna get nerfs or buffs

I liked the concept of old Freddy, but waking up via skillchecks just neutered him. Could be better controlled with the clocks.

His teleport power is very outdated. He's probably getting the same treatment like Dredge

I love how Weave is still on the list, and its obvious they are going to nerf it, despite the fact that people have stopped using the combo because they realized having 2 perks that can be removed by spending 15 seconds pressing "r" is not good, and its better to run 2 more gen slowdown perks.

In this case, it's simply because the updates have gotten too big for this roadmap format and there's not enough room to squeeze everything in there. We'd like to show everything in the future, but didn't have the time to come up with a brand new layout this time around.
We'll share the full list with all the details in the dev update before the PTB, in any case.

I don't like seeing Wake Up on there. It's a solid perk as it is, I don't want them to ruin it.

Weave really needed to be changed so it is usable by itself not just a combo piece, but ultimately there's little chance Weave is getting anything more than just Ultimate Weapon treatment.

Bring back old freddy. He was so much better thematically.
