Can anyone explain why event power is better than Unknown's entire power?

I don't get what the point of using unknown power is in this event when event power is faster downs then the ability.

    Unknown has a lot of addons that work with its ranged power (Exhaust. Broken, Hinder, Hemorrhage, and Oblivious). All them also being the more common of its addons green and lower.

    The ghost can't hit u through walls. I'm pretty sure it can't even go over pallets so i don't believe it better than the unknown power. The UVX have far better range and versatility. But even if it was better than unknown power so what?? Anniversary remote pallet break was far superior to the majority of killers anti loop abilities. I

    In my experience the event power is garbage. It can't travel through pallets, cant travel through walls, if it even slightly hits a small object like trash on the floor the ability just stops entirely, It can only travel so far for it to do damage. Considering you need to waste minimum 20 seconds to get it I personally just can't be bothered getting it unless It happens to be a Tome Challenge on Page 2. The blue smoke bomb survivor got this time around is arguably way stronger and will has the potential to always get value from it.
