Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Please, can we adjust survivors screaming volume already?

I think this has been asked many times, but lately it seems to have been a forgotten topic, which honestly surprises me.

Maybe its a "me" thing, but DBD its a game where sound effects (footsteps, breathing) are almost as important as the visuals.

I would love to play this at maximum volume without having to do some tricks like alt+tab two times when i hook someone (which, mind you, if i play with Pain Res it also hinders me by not hearing if a survivor screams on a gen).

Hell, i'm pretty sure that even just reducing the screaming volume would be fine. Im not saying survivors of all sudden should scream in almost silent, but i would love to not get my eardrums destroyed in a game where it rewards you by pay attention to the sounds around you.

They just need to add individual sound settings so every player can adjust, music, sfx, screams, dialogue, etc. separately at the levels they prefer. This feature is extremely overdue.

o9nly times it bothers me is when im spirit and i cant hear footsteps because of the chase music. But on hook, i think if you smack em they stop screaming faster. I dont do it cuz its not an issue for me but ive heard people mention it

Lore wise it would make sense that the killers (except Trickster) would tune out survivor's hook screams.

There's really no good reason why their brains would waste calories processing that information.

That accessibility page in the options menu is looking pretty empty, really wish somebody would add stuff to it.
