Plague Infection not spreading to survivors healing

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: The survivors are healing without contracting the plague infection

PLATFORM: PS5

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: I had the Kate infected and the Sable picked her up multiple times without being infected.

VIDEO: 14:28 in the video to the end. Kate was picked up multiple times with no spread of plague infection.

    Survivors are not yet contagious if they are in the first stage of infection. A healthy teammate can unhook them without contracting the disease themselves. A survivor in the first stage of sickness also will not infect objects they touch.

    This only applies when they are in second stage and broken, then any interaction between them and an object or teammate will spread the disease.

    In your video, the Kate unhooks herself with Deliverance at 14:28. This causes the Broken status effect, which is not from the Plague. You can see that it goes away after a bit.
