Let bad/lopsided trials end. Stop extending them to 10+ minutes

I'm so sick of being trapped in trials where the result was decided within 2 or 3 minutes, but I have to play it out for 10+ minutes despite having no win condition as a survivor.

I'm tired of being trapped in a 3v1 with 4 remaining gens. What is the point of dragging that game out for 10 minutes? It's over. There's no comeback mechanism for the survivors. You have to do more gen charges per survivor in a 3v1, gen regression values stay the same, and the gens require the same amount of charges as they do in a 4v1. The. Game. Is. Over.

I personally see zero value in having to play out an unwinnable game to maybe get hatch. Not after 6 years and thousands of hours. Players shouldn't be expected to donate time to an unwinnable game. Either give survivors a reasonable comeback mechanism in a 3v1, or end those trials quickly.

I cannot fathom a reason to make players sit through a 3v1 with 3+ gens remaining where a killer still has stacks of Pain Res+Grim Embrace+whatever. What is the value proposition? "Hey, if you just wait and do nothing for 10 minutes without getting found, you have a 50/50 chance of getting hatch." What are we doing? I don't even want to be in those games as killer. I just want the games to end. I've 4k'd, but I have to wait 10 minutes until the result is official.

    I kinda agree. If 2 or 3 gens pop before the first down, I should be able to concede and get to the next game instead of finding a wall or the basement

    Wasn't said but heavily implied especially since thats one of the 2 options in that type of senario, concede or lose more slowly

    You could just seek out the killer and let them hook you.

    Blame gens becoming longer and longer and longer, with all the gen locking, regression and slowdown being used these days. There is no room for error anymore hardly.

    I'm not saying gens can't go quickly, but one down and suddenly the games extended by half a minute or more depending on the combo.

    In the killer end of things it isnt over till its over lol ive killed all 4 after they were tbagging at the gates cuz i caught one doing a totem by the gate and all hell broke loose (as deathslinger). But for survivors yea someone gets tripple tunneled off everyone just loses all willpower to even bother playing and just turns into a miserable wait to see whos left standing for hatch or watch the killer slug the last 2 people. Would be nice to have a vote to concede option as maybe tunnelers would get bored of everyone just conceding every time they play to just kill 1 person only lol might even slowly stop tunneling, might even prevent having to sit through 4 man slugfests for bleedout etc.

    Nope. We're not talking about an equivalent thing on both sides. Killers still very much have the possibility to snowball. I've won plenty of games on killer over the years where 2 or 3 gens popped before the first down. Can't say I've ever seen survivors finish the gens in an early 3v1.

    I'm not talking about conceding. I'm talking about not making survivors exponentially weaker after an early elimination.

    Alright so if I lose as killer I end the match, if you as survivor lose you end the match... so when are we going to play?

    Someone has to lose and you don't get good teammates all the time just as I won't get downs perfectly all the time. It's just a really bad concept to make giving up easier because no one will ever get better at this game then, you just don't have a reason you just have to give up 15 times until you have survivor or a killer to bully... oh yes I forgot you can't even do that because the other side just gives up lol xD

    Every single perk I'm complaining about still gets used for up to a minute at a time in total (new deadmans I've seen proc a few times when someone needs to go save)? paired with 90 second gens it can make what would take 450 seconds if only one person is on a gen due to the others trying to help/being on hook/slugged up to 675 this is exactly what OP is complaining about. that's up to 10 minutes alone if gens get blocked/regressed up to 50 percent per gen.

    Casually this game is a mess rn, one mistake costs too much time, I never have time to set up anymore get an item from a chest or bless a totem etc. It's also what results in people gen rushing as they feel pressured to play like that more commonly. Speaking from experience personally, I used to spend a lot more time off gens prior 6.1.0 having fun but as times went on, and S tiers are more popular I just don't get off gens anymore unless chased.
